I was on Methadone for 6 years for back surgery, switched from Vicodin, Oxycodone, Duragesic patch, Oxycontin, tried it all, it ALL sucks, I am all healed up now so time to get off the Methadone, Hardest thing I have ever done! I went from 70-100mg a day now down to 1mg and change. Everyone I heard from said to TAPER! will it hurt to take suboxone with perect if u spresd them apart ## No as long as you speed them far apart. It also depends on how much suboxone you take., however most people take suboxone for opiate addiction. Normally you would have to wait at least 24 hours after taking 1 suboxone to take any type of narcotics. Otherwise the suboxone will block the narcotics and you will not get any relief from the pain pill. But in no way shape or form should you mix the two. You could get very I'll or die. I've changed healthcare plans (I receive disability because of chronic degenerative disc disease and spinal arthritis, both of which cause chronic pain). I need to find a PAIN SPECIALIST, not an addiction clinic, who will continue my 12mg/day buprenorphine prescription as well as give me botox IV's in my neck for muscle spasms (caused by 5 fusions that have forced my cervical spine straight). When I search the web for physicians in Boulder County, CO, who can prescribe buprenorphine, all of the listings are for addiction specialists and clinics! What is this mindset among physicians that all patients who need buprenorphine prescriptions are drug addicts? I am being drug tested for cps and I am on suboxone, adderall, klonopin and gabapentin. It's showing up on the drug cup as methamphetamine and mdma, but my suboxone and other meds are not showing up. I have a script for methadone for chronic pain and have been on vacation, well someone was nice enough to steal my last two days worth of meds here on vaca, well my partner has 15 mg oxycodone that I can take to help me thru till we get home yet I am weary due to my doc appt in ten days, will a days worth of perks be gone in ten days not using them on a reg basis? I go to a methadone clinic and recently got takehomes. I am trying to split my dose up so i can take it 3x a day. I get 140mgs. All I have is a med dropper that has tsps and mls. I only want to take about 40 mgs a time. How do I convert that with the med dropper I have? ## What about splitting it into 3 doses using 3 of the same size bottles/containers? ## If the dropper is 1 ml, it might be the same as 10mg ## Without knowing how many milliliters they give you in your take home bottle, no one can properly answer your question. Additionally, it would really be best to take it all at once, if that is what they have directed you to do. Altering your dosage, or the way it is taken, in any way, could go against the contractual agreement you have with them that allowed you to get take homes....

I'm on parole and the test used shows that they test for thc, opiates and cocaine. If I'm taking methadone, will I test positive for opiates? ## I took Methadone for over 10 years and each and every month I had to take 2 urine Drug tests that was sent off to a lab they always came back positive for methadone. If I’m correct anytime a Dr. or treatment clinic dispenses methadone the test they use rather sent of to a lab or checked in front of you they Specifically check for Methadone/Metabolized Methadone.

My friend is sick from opiate withdrawal. He bought what I am told is suboxone - but there are no pictures of this pill in google images It is white and round not oval or hexagon N8 is imprinted. Did anyone know if the Birmingham metro methadone clinic will let you charge a dose and pay later or do you have to pay every time on time? ## I LIVE IN BIRMINGHAM BEEN IN TREATMENT 5 YEARS. I like a lot of other people got addicted to opiates by a doctor that convinced me of a back problem that I never had..at the worst part of my addiction I could swallow 50 pills a day. I was in my addiction for 5 years. I started on 8 mg of suboxone a year ago and due to the cost my dr. put me on 8 mg subutex.. I have since cut myself down to 4mg and can tell no difference from the 8-4mg. I am now in school and more excited than ever. My life has completely changed. I have no desire to feel high and if that is what anyone on this medication is looking to do, forget it.. You are defeating the purpose and wasting your money. I can tell you from first hand use of Methadose 10mg use I am most definitely addicted to the Medication! I have been with out now for almost 24 hours and I have not been feeling good at all!! I must add I crush and Snort my methadose tablets which possibly leads to me being very ill with out em idk? But I'm addicted went from percocet to methadose ## Methadone is actually very well-known to be addictive and to cause severe withdrawal symptoms. I take suboxone. I'm really trying to be 100% clean. I ran out of suboxone early and took 3 10mg methadone pills. I have never taken them before. I got off my subs for a month and went back to full antagonists thinking I was gonna have gall bladder surgery. I can't take the opiates anymore so I went back to my subs two days ago after being on methadone for about two weeks.
