Can You Get Addicted To Methadone

I can tell you from first hand use of Methadose 10mg use I am most definitely addicted to the Medication! I have been with out now for almost 24 hours and I have not been feeling good at all!! I must add I crush and Snort my methadose tablets which possibly leads to me being very ill with out em idk? But I'm addicted went from percocet to methadose

Methadone is actually very well-known to be addictive and to cause severe withdrawal symptoms.

While it was used to treat drug addiction, most people that have been on Methadone programs never truly end up being drug free. Almost all of them end up having to take a lifetime maintenance dose of it.

Crushing and snorting the tablets is also very dangerous, but it actually doesn't make them any more addictive than they already are.

Yes absolutely, I was addicted to methadone for 5 years. At first I started taking 40 mg wafers then gradually increased my dosage to 100 mg daily then I absolutely made a terrible mistake. I made the sin that anyone on methadone should never ever do, which is take a benzo while on this drug. 1st you will be lucky to survive. I did survive but at a very expensive cost. A DUI! Totally sucked, so now there was the loss of my license to drive, the courts now randomly test me and the withdrawal took at least a year to really EXIT my body. From what I heard, it is one of the worst drugs to detox off of. Unless you receive professional help the recovery will seem hopeless. I recommend at least 90 days to really get on the right track to recovery. The 28 to 30 day bulls*** that they try to sell these young kids in rehab is a joke. The drug is too powerful and has a long shelf life that garments in your bones and body and it takes time to really exit.
