I am currently going away next year to Lanzarote off the Canary Islands. I am on a regular script of 18 mg of Subutex per day. These have been prescribed by my psychiatrist. Will I need to take any proof from my doctor or psychiatrist or any doctor's letters to take with me, or can I just take them at my own will? ## I would suggest contacting a doctor or pharmacy there and asking them what you need to do. Would a doctor perscribe patches like this for me? I need 2 knee replacements & have severe spinal stenosis, spondalosis, pinched nerves, and buldging disk all in my back. It's not advisable to ask them to prescribe any specific medication, because that's usually considered to be drug seeking behavior and there is also no way of knowing what they will or will not prescribe, until you actually have an appointment with someone. I want to know if this is possible if taking a lot of Vistaral and a lot of Neurontin would overdose me ## Hi Innia, Your question is a bit vague, as it is possible to overdose on virtually anything (including water) if you take "a lot" of it. In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If you have reason to believe that you're going to collapse or stop breathing, then you should probably go straight to 911 and not wait for a response on a forum. I started taking suboxone Oct 1 after 13 years of methadone. I started at 3 a day and for the last 2 weeks im down to 1 a day. How quick can I get off of Sub? Ive been taking it for days now. What can i take for scoliosis and two spine fractures when i take suboxone. And my pain chronic to severe. Hi, I am new here, although I have been reading up on these posts for my own benefit for similar situations...so, anyway, I have a question, I think I already know the answer to...but here it goes. How long do I need to wait after taking a 10mg Oxy at 3pm, then a 10mgill) methadone at 7pm on friday night, THEN a half piece, (half a pill) at 2pm sat afternoon. Looking for a good pain management doctor in the Madison or Platteville area. I have been on methadone for severe pain following a failed double spinal fusion in 1999. The pain has been increasing lately, especially taking care of my 15 yr old daughter with special needs. I took about 2 mgs of Subutex on Thursday at 3pm..never had it before. I have my refill appt the following Tuesday at 1pm and I still have 10mgs of oxycodone I can take to test positive for that as I should. My question is; will I test positive for Subutex (in your experience) ? ## Well, they'd have to be using a test that specifically looks for it, which not all places use, because they are more expensive than the regular tests. Question, ALL I ever find on any suboxone informational website in regards to coming off of the subs are HORRIBLE....Here's the thing...I've been taking them 3 years! I got down to a quater of 8mg for a couple of weeks...then stopped. YES, it sucked...mentally mostly the first few days & not being able to sleep, but the the third to the seventh day was all stomach related and I was sleeping because I was so tired from not sleeping....By the third day, I forced myself to eat & eat right, all good foods, I FORCED myself to walk too...this all is about what everyone else said...today for me is day 19...I'm still tired, it sucks...but I get through stuff...I don't feel like it, but last week was worse when it came to being tired...but i worked & got through it......

I live in upper Michigan (sault ste. Marie), I do NOT have insurance, i AM prescribed low level medication (Tramadol) for pain, however, am seriously interested in finding the closest doctor to upper Michigan (yet one that genuinely cares about his patients), that only prescribes or also prescribes methadone for addiction.
