I just found out I pregnant little over a week ago and I'm addicted to suboxone! I haven't seen a doctor yet. Do I tell my obgyn this? Or get a subutex doctor first? I really don't want either but I have read so many bad things about quitting cold turkey! I am also originally from Montana and moved to wv about 6 months ago so I'm not familiar with any doctors here! Hello everyone! I've been on suboxone 4 almost 8 years now. Due 2 Oxy addiction and pain. Had many of surgeries and lots of medical problems. Also, on klonopin 4 anxiety and PTSD. I've never had any cravings 2 want 2 use until now . I just had my cat of 14 years put 2 sleep this morning. She had a huge lump in her neck that was stopping her breathing. She was my baby, slept with me every night and followed me every where . I have been crying my eyes out all day and night. What's bothering me is the cravings 2 want 2 use. I just moved here from Tn. I'm having a very hard time finding a doc. here. I've been without my meds now 6 days and I'm feeling the withdrawal affects. So so so nervous I have finally got me a doctor appointment. I am currently going to a Methadone Maintance Clinic but not for addiction. I was in a severe domestic violence relationship for 11 years. I was shoved down stairs etc. my back kills me. I had no insurance so all I had available was a methadone clinic. I now have a great job with insurance so I can afford a doctor. My wife has been dealing with my H addiction for years. Does anybody know much about soboxone? my girlfriend isn't prescribed them and gets them from a junky friend that uses the desolveable ones for under the tongue. My girlfriend drinks heavy amounts of alcohol and takes several medication that are prescribed to her with the soboxone and I was wondering the health risk that could occure and how strong of a drug is 2mg 8mg packets of soboxone and is it very addictive and does it cause withdraws from soboxone alone? Yes, I am trying to find a way to taper off methadone. I am a recovering addict and I have been in recovery 9 years. In my methadone treatment I was at 70 mg @ day and reduced to my current 30 mg @ day in small amounts over time at the clinic I am in. I have heard that a psychiatrist, under certain conditions could write it. Insurance doesn't cover MMT and my wife and I both go. With one income and 2 kids life is financially impossible. ## Unfortunately, no. I would like to get off the methadone. Im sick of the clinic rules, the police watching people go in and out and the expense. I know chasing drugs is expensive but I want to switch to subs. How do Barclay Pharmacy get away with charging $1200.00 for 150 pills of Roxiecodone???!!! And $500.00 for 180 pills of Methadone??!! ## Supply and demand. There is nothing that makes them charge less. When supplies are short, they can charge as they please. Generics are supposed to be cheaper, but sometimes things happen that change that such as a shortage in raw materials. I have had issues with my lower back since 1980 (When I injured myself) have a couple of surgeries and back in 2003 had a SCS installed (Spinal Cord Stimulant). For period of time the SCS worked well, but as I got older and my Spinal Cord Stenosis got worse the SCS lost its effectiveness. So I was put on a Butrans patch to carry me through as I did not want the surgery and wanted to stay working. Now on the Fentanyl patch (50 mg) and while I will admit it helpful the biggest issue I have is "Hot Flashes" and they are just nuts... So now after reading through all the issues others see I have now decided to go back to the Doc and discuss surgery again and seizure of the vertebrae in lower back. U will get the best results that way. It can b very dangerous 2 mix the 2. I am 65 y/o male who has been on Rx opiates several years. I cheated when the Rx arrived early in the mail and had extra tablets. When taking codeine sulphate and long acting morphine the pills were shipped together. When the codeine was switched to Norco the meds were mailed separately. The VA is where I receive health care. The Norco was always sent out on day 31 taking up to 10 days to arrive even on 28 day & 30 months. The morphine was always overnighted and arrive on time. The time gap between shipments left me taking excessive amounts of one to cover for the other and visa-versa. At the end I would 30mg Norco QTH when out of morphine.
