Info On Methadone

hi my pain doc has me start taking methadone 10mg 4 times a day and all the info i have read up on about this drug is bad news. i am concerned about the heart factor this drug effects. also was wondering if anyone is on or has ever experienced the effects of this drug that could give me a little input. i would also like to know if there is a difference from taking 40mg all at once or takeing 10mg 4 times a day. are the levels the same with 40mg
and 10mg 4 time a day or my levels would be higher due to the fact that am talking 10mg every 6 hours. i am also on oxycodone 30mg 3 times a day. any info would be appreciated thanks jj

Hello. I just started taking liquid methadone so I know about the affects of it and I take 20mgs a day. Liquid is wayy stronger than the pills and affects you right away but the pills it takes a while for the affect to hit you so I would suggest that you take it regular 10mgs 4x a day or however its prescribed because if you take to much at once without your body being used to it you might OD or get really really sick from it. but you might be able to get away with taking 20mg at a time sense your already taking 30s of the percocet so you must have a high tolerance. only do what you feel comfortable with because you dont want to feel ill or hurt yourself! Be safe and hope everything works out for you!
