Been home from treatment for a week. While there for 30 days .... I started suboxone maintenance at 1 8 mg film a day. The entire time I was there, I felt great. No w/d symptoms after I took my first dose. Since I have returned home.... I have maintained my same 8 mg dose each morning. Within two days of being home....I have been feeling w/d symptoms around 7 pm each night. Freezing cold, nauseous, insomnia. As soon as I take my dose in the am I am fine then same thing happens each night. I most definitely feel that my dose is wearing off (YES I know about the half life and YES I was told that you don't build a tolerance to subs) BUT I know how I feel and after 7 pm....I feel like s***! How do I best stop using this crap. Been trying to do less and less. I had shoulder surgery got onto perks and vikes. Long term stuff but weened myself off. This one isnt so easy. Thinking I should have done this tge hard way rather than try other folks advice. Any suggestions? ## Hi Mark, It really depends on how much your taking per day. Subs have the long half life so that makes things so much different then the usual pain pill wd. I can tell you this, when you get down to 3 or 4mgs you should not drop more than a half mg at a time. You need to wait until your body feels comfortable on that dose. I,m talking a week at the least. It,s because of the half life. It takes a long time but well worth it. If you do this the jump will be fairly easy.

What up diluadid peoples this is church am Im going to tell you how I kicked H with subs. now Ive honestly tryed every thing in the book. First and for most you need to want it bad. I kicked It once when I got locked up but all I could think about is useing when I got out because I didnt do it on my own terms. any way suboxone is real powerful for real it doesnt take much and theirs a point where you will just waste it so start off any were from 18 -24 hours after last shot or how ever you do it start out with 2 milli grams cut with razor blade to get it percice wait an hour still fell like s***? take 2 more until you fell good you really dont need more then a full strip for the first day then 1/2 strip 2nd 1/2 strip 3rd then qurter strip 4th thats it you will only have mild withdrawals...

I am getting a scrip for suboxone because i have good insurance and my friend needs it and cannot afford it. I got the scrip by taking some oxycodone i had left over from a dental issue so when the doc tested me I tested positive. When I go back he is going to test me to make sure I am taking the subs. If I take them will they make me sick? How can I get them into my urine without taking them? My friend who takes the subs lives across the country so they cannot piss for me. ## Hello! is the suboxone price that high that justifies you goig through all that? ## Wow people go to all lengths to get this medication. Been taking 40 mg methadone daily for 6 -7 years for pain management . Some reason my meds came up short this month and I've had to lower my dose in half to make it to my refill day. I'm feeling like crap being this is 3rd day and have 3 more to go until I can refill my script just would think keeping methadone in your system you wouldn't get sick , I've even taken a few Extra norco for break threw pain and also take Ativan for anxiety I really thought I could take a few extra of my other meds to stop the yucky feeling I just take the 20 mg methadone in morning. Should I take 10 mg in morning and 10 mg in afternoon ? I have been seeing the same painmanagment Dr 3years. They were forced by NJ family care to discharge me because I pay cash to see him. He is very reasonable with his offfice visit fee. The meds I can't afford so I use my family care. All of a sudden after 3years they telling me there's a problem. One 38yr old woman has been there since she's 16 and Dr was forced to discharge her. Just wondered if anybody has any experience of coming off 30ml of methadone and how long it took them really.Ive cut down over a year from 60ml to 30ml but am getting impatient and hoped I could get some idea of how much longer Ide be taking it for.Any input much appreciated, Thanks Nasa. ## the slower you taper the better off you'll be. I am in a methadone program and i have been clean for 9 years of everything and anything but methadone and i getr tested every month when i go in to get my monthly take homes now all of the sudden they are saying I failed last month for benzos and this month for barbiturates and I do not even know what those are, but they are saying I failed but I know that I havent taken anything to fail and another thing they just changed their swab tests to a new kind this month when I went in there. something is really wrong here and its not ok. ## May i ask what clinic you go to? Clinics near south suburbs of Chicago. I currently go to a private doctor and I cant afford it, that why I need help, I DO NOT WANT TO RETURN TO H. Please help thank you. I live in Steger IL, so if the clinic is within 35 miles of driving that is fine.

My boyfriend has been taking suboxone for over a year now. somewhere between 2mg to 8mg. i think its around 6. he decided to detox himself. so he loaded up on klonopin, nuerontin and colonadine. sorry about the spelling. he went 9 days without the suboxone the first few were pretty easy then the 5th day he was supposedly getting sick. so he tried scoring some more at the 9 day mark. i basically called all his drug dealers and convinced them to stop selling to him. he got furious and went chasing looking. not sure if he scored or not. if i take a 4mg suboxen 5 hours before a suboxen urine test will it show up ## Yes, it will! It is an opiate narcotic, actually, so it will show up on any test that checks for them. If you have a valid doctor's prescription, however, you just need to inform them of this, when you go in to have the test done. A Friend has come to me with a problem about her Daughter abusing heroine. She is not showing ANY SIGNS OF WITHDRAWAL OR abuse, but is saying she is on suboxone. Can she receive treatment for heroine abuse without parental consent? I have to take my monthly Suboxone urine screen but also smoke marijuana. My doc is ok with it because I use it as a sleep aid that's it. But I'm smoking more than I have told her. I don't have to pass the urine screen for weed, but I need to make it look minimal. Is there a way to do this without messing up the whole screen? I could just be honest with her but I don't want her to really tell me to stop. ## I think that if your doctor is fine with you smoking weed and it's okay to have it in your system then I don't think you should try to do anything to cover it up. I had as bad a opiate habit as I have ever heard of from anyone until six years ago. During my final days, I was taking 12+ 80 mg Oxycontin a day. That's right, a day. that's the equivalent of 180 regular 5 mg Percocets a day when I finally OD'd on Christmas day. I was a 55+ yr old professional, married for 32 yrs, with 3 adult children. Sadly, they were prescribed by my Doctor. It's unbelievable now that I think back on it. Started out 1 perc 5 mg at a time 30 yrs earlier for my back. Loved them and kept it up until BOOM. Anyway, I tried many times to get off, but when I OD'd it was definitely time to succeed and I started on Suboxone 8/2mgs 3 times a day and have been on them for 6 years. I got my life back and it has been pretty normal since(if any life is normal)...

My ex was addicted to morphine for years. Was pulled over by police in MI and they saw my take home lock box. Asked me what was in it and I told them about being a patient at the clinic and it was my take home. I was ordered out of the vehicle and made to do all the roadside sobriety tests, which I passed. I was cuffed and taken to the hospital for a blood draw, my truck was impounded, license plate and drivers license destroyed and lodged in the county jail overnight. My blood I know came up clean which is why they turned me into the Sec of State saying I have health issues that make it so I can't drive. This was over 3 months ago and they still have it in computer that I cannot get a license plate for my vehicle. Working single dad can't afford legal help this has already cost me a lot. Any help would be appreciated.
