No registration is required and your identity remains anonymous.I had knee replacement surgery in March. I got up to high dosages of oxy (100 mg/day of the short acting 10mg pink pills). I wanted to get off the oxy without tapering for weeks so I went to a doctor who prescribed Zubsolv, because it would be "easy" to withdraw from. I was only on Zubsolv for 10 days, my highest dosage was 3-4 of the sublingual/day. He told me to taper for two days and quit. It has been seven days and there is no end sight of the withdrawal symptoms. In fact today is the worst day. I've been on Prozac for years and continue to take my regular dosage (30 mg). Could this be prolonging my withdrawal? Also, how long can this possibly last? I have two kids, one autistic and have been bedridden and haven't eaten in 4 days. ## Hello, Richard! How are you doing...
Will tramadol show up on a subutex urine test? I am in the subutex clinic and ran out so I took 3 tramadol. I've never taken them before so now I'm worried they will show up in my drug test. I took them 2 days ago so I'm hoping they will be out of my system or could the subutex cover the tramadol up?
Updated in SubutexWill methadone clinic prescribe methadone while taking Adderall ## I'm wondering the same thing, I'm considering going to a methadone clinic and I have been prescribed adderal for years for my ADHD. ## It seems that it would depend on the sole discretion of the doctor who prescribes the methadone, as to my understanding, every physician sets different standards based on their own developed moral instincts, ethics and legal boundaries. However, to assume that it is illegal to prescribe these two meds together would be total nonsense in my opinion, which leads me to believe that they do have the ability to prescribe whatever it is they want to prescribe within reason. Whether or not they act on their ability to do so is another story.
I'm being switched back to suboxone from subutex next month bc tn governor signed a bill not to allow subutex to anybody who isn't pregnant. I've not taken suboxone since 2012 I desperately need to know which suboxone is best I was never a big fan of the strips or the stop sign orange subs I keep hearing there's better cheaper versions now please help thanks
Updated in SuboxoneThe last 2 years of taking suboxone I have had severe anxiety which has caused me to really go threw way too much Xanax. I have just found out that naloxone has a lot of side effects that I have had and have been suffering from. What should I tell my suboxone doctor who I would think should know this ive told them 100s of times all the symptoms and I actually think their are more side effects than reported I noticed when I abruptly stopped taking them that the itching and tingling in my face was gone which was an everyday thing I also am wondering if it has caused me other serious side effects not reported like my periods are out of whack and unusual im 43 and my whole life I have always been pretty skinny. But in this last year and a half I have put on close to 50 pounds out of nowhere...
I need to find a doctor that prescribes methadone the clinic is,to far for me and can't afford it everyday need a doctor whom will prescient monthly doses ## Hello, Shelly! How are you? I'm sorry, but a doctor cannot prescribe it for you. Under the current laws, it would be illegal for them to do so, thus, the clinic is your only option. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
Does anyone have any tips on treating the headaches that goes along with the suboxone? I have had chronic pain issues my whole adult life. I have been very surprised that the suboxone helps my pain very much. I just can't stand these headaches. ## Hello, Cj! How are you? I'm sorry about the headaches. Have you tried any nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, if your doctor approves of you taking them, such as Advil or Aleve? Since you're on Suboxone, other narcotics won't work, but many people get relief with NSAIDs. The FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
I have a pill that is supposed to be generic suboxone. On it is 54 on top and 375 on bottom. Nothing on the back. What is this? ## Hello, Rob! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and they list it as being an 8/2mg generic for Suboxone. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
the pill is the same size as a methadone 10 mg with a line in the middle on one side, and it has asc then 116 ## This imprint actually IS identified as a 10mg Methadone Hydrochloride tablet, so your thoughts were right on target! Methadone is a synthetic opioid, used medically as an analgesic and a maintenance anti-addictive for use in patients with opioid dependency. For more information about this drug, please refer to the link below... Did you have any other questions or concerns about this drug? Please post back if you do. ## For some reason the asc116 methadone are not working like the mbox 54122 whats that about?Isnt it supposed to work the same?
I am having painful foot surgery next month. I want to make sure my pain medication works for me. I have tapered down my suboxine to 1/5 of a 2mg. strip every other day. If I am off completely for a few days before surgery, will the pain medication work? ## It would be best to double check with your doctor to make sure you stop taking it for the proper amount of time, before surgery. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How long have you been on the Suboxone?
Okay All, I know many opiate addicts are young, lack education, conduct no personal research, but the facts and questions about Suboxone and Subutex here are so incredibly stupid, it appears I found a sight were the lowest form of opiate addict posts. Look, I have a Ph.D in Chem, work for one of the top 3 Pharm Companies in the World, and was an opiate addict for over nine years! So, what we all have in common is very weak wills and believing we could control our longing for that opiate (or opiod) induced euphoria. Many opiate addicts have co-dependencies and are also addicted to stimulants (Amphetamines) and Benzos (Xanax, Valium, Klonopin, countless others) so if you are looking for help getting off of these drugs, then see a Doctor because, in the case of benzos or alcohol, withdrawa...
Went to see my PA today. I was raped in Oct 2000 and did well until 2008. I had been shoved against a tub nozzle and the 1st of the 3 ruptured. I went over 3 years like this because I found myself surrounded by people that told me I was a hypo. I finally got this fixed in 2009 and did very well for quite awhile. Then my second surgery came due April 1st of this year, with one more to go. Saving the worst for last. Over 2 weeks ago I was doing good and then like the flick of a switch I wasn't. My lower back is killing me, my hips and legs actually hurt worse than before the surgery. My Dr. is putting me on some new medication Lyrica 25 mg, but he said it would be awhile before I'd feel any relief. He needs Dr. Studts (Pain Mgmnt Dt.)'s ok before he can give me methadone to he...
Updated in MethadoneI am prescribed Adderal, Norco and Xanax. I took a very small piece of Suboxone the night before and I had a random drug screen the next afternoon. Will the Suboxone show up in the test? They sent it off because of the other medications I'm on. ## Yes it will show for up to 8 day after you take it no matter what amount you took even a little piece shows for up to 8 day ,I just went though this with my pain management.. True trust me...... ## TRUTH AND FACT... After reading all the different times in the replies I bought some FDA approved test strips. The same urine test strips the sub dr's use and that tested at the same cut off level used by ALL urine tests. Used 6 to 8mg a day for 7 days and they tested POSITIVE for 15 days straight... FINALLY Clean by day 16. That's the fa...
I am a sufferer of chronic pain I have 2 artificial hips and have been on just about every narcotic opiate around I recently tried using suboxone films I get relief from withdrawls but no pain relief how do I tackle this problem my tolerance is very high but can get by on 15 mg oxycodone actually the tens will work I tried subs because I no longer want to be a slave to the meds but I have no pain relief from it I absolutely will never try methadone again -I fear the withdrawl my question is how do I get pain relief without the affliction of dependence on opiates please help me ## Hello, I feel for you and the pain and suffering you're experiencing, i too suffer from severe chronic pain and have CRPS + chronic Osteo-Arthritis + tendonitis. For over 13 years i have suffered from sever...
Dont understand it if i go to clinic its $365 month, prescribed is $3.00 a month, have to try find pain clinic,im in one now,but only give short acting oxycodone i asked for a longterm pill, wont do it,i never heard such a crazy thing, asked for increase in mg,nope cant do it,wtf ## Hello, Kevin! How are you? Both Suboxone and Methadone require special training to be prescribed for drug addiction. For pain, however, technically any doctor can prescribe them. The issue, though, is that due to the new directives from the DEA, most will not prescribe them, since they both tend to be addictive. The FDA classifies these medications as narcotic analgesics, so they have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ...
I was put on suboxone after two years of narcotics from three bad and failed shoulder surgeries. I started in March, April was on 1 pill a day and May 2 weeks 1/2 pill 2 weeks 1/4 my last dose was thursday. my shoulder dislocated again and need something but I don't want to be ill. any suggestions? the pharmacist says its out in 24-36 hrs but now I don't know. any suggestions? ## The main concern is actually the Naloxone, since that is what neutralizes opiates to prevent anyone abusing them, while they are under treatment with the Suboxone. Naloxone actually has a fairly short half-life of only a little over an hour and it takes approximately 5 to 6 half-lives for something to be eliminated from the body, so it would be gone in about 6 to 7 hours. The Buprenorphine, which is the...
I 've been on subutex for about 6 months. Had a tooth pulled 5 days ago since I've takin 16 lorcett 7.5 some tylenol 3 and 3 trammadol I'm pretty sure in 24 hours it will be ok.. I wish I'd just stayed on the subutex my mouth still hurts like crazy but i want back on my subutex ## The Subutex only contains Buprenorphine, not the Naloxone that's in Suboxone, so you really shouldn't have to wait too long of a period of time. Learn more Subutex details here. However, I'd suggest checking with your doctor to be certain. Is anyone experienced in this area? ## You have to wait the same amount of time for both. The buprenorphine is what cause precipitated withdrawels not the naloxone which is useless and inactive because it can't compete with the bupe. Bupe has ...
I really need to find a doctor in louisville ky thru indiana who prescribes methadone for pain, my doc is retiring please if any one has any info please let me know thank you ## Hi Suzy, There's actually quite a few different doctors in the Louisville, KY area that are noted for prescribing methadone and other similar medications. It's not just methadone it's all narcotics. Florida won't fill any narcotic. Believe me we've tried. We next day air the script to our family in minneapolis, they go to our pharmacy for us, fill and ship back to us. It's a pain but it works. ## @Mpls, Wow, I think its pretty ridiculous what extent patients have to go through in order to be able to have their legal medication filled, as if it's some sort of secret substance that no one can speak of in the State of Florida. And even across the country in California, my dad was just telling me the other night how he had to drive to several different cities in Southern California (which is very spread out) just to get a weak 5/325mg Norco script filled, because everyone was "allegedly" out of stock. With the ...
