Does anyone know??? I need help? ## Hello, Bev! How are you? They do have a search engine that you can use to check for doctors in your area. You can find it at Suboxone.com click here. It allows you to search by zip code and will provide the doctor's contact information, so you can call them to see if they have patient openings. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I'm sorry, I should've added that it would be the same doctors, they can usually prescribe Subutex or Suboxone. However, you should be aware that unless you're pregnan...

My boyfriend is currently in drug therapy for vicodin abuse. He has been doing fantastic the last year and a half. Just recently I washed his pants with half of his subutex script in them. He is 2 weeks away from having his normal script filled. I don't want him to suffer and am trying to find either subutex or suboxone on the street so he doesn't go through any withdrawals or if anyone can give me ideas so he feels no pain without reverting to taking vicodin. Can a doctor or lab tell a difference between suboxone and subutex on a drug screen? ## Both Subutex and Suboxone contain the same narcotic, Buprenorphine, so in that respect, they would both show up the same on a drug test. However, a problem might arise if they also check his levels of it. If they do that, then his level...

Hello guys I am on 13mg of methadone and I take it every day at 9am. My question is could I have a few drinks say about 8PM? Like 3 bottles of beers if I took it slow ? Does anyone else drink on methadone? Obviously i am on a low dose but just wanted some advice. I know you're not meant to drink with it, but lots of other meds you're not meant to drink on and you're fine, so let me know your experiences. thanks ## The reason you are advised against mixing alcohol with opiates is because they both cause depression of the central nervous system, which can result in lowered heart rate, lowered blood pressure, lowered breathing rate, dizziness, and drowsiness. Ref: Prescription Pain Medications In some people, this can be extremely dangerous, since they could lower to levels tha...

I went to a doctor in PA that prescribed me subutex. I went to a few pharmacies in the area (Washington, Pa) but they only carried Suboxone. Does anyone know where I can get subutex filled in Washington, Pa or close to there? I live in Morgantown, Wv & would rather get them filled in this area if that's possible. I have a WV ID, but a PA. Subutex prescription. ## I have the same problem! Script written in Washington, PA but I have a WV ID. I live in Mon county, WV so the closer the better! I took my last Oxycodone on Saturday. I've been taking 30 mg for 5 years. How long would withdrawals last if I take tiny pieces of 8 mg Suboxone? How long will I need to do this so that I don't get sick? Thanks ## I have a great deal of experience with induction phase of subs. If you are on Subutex you can start as soon as you feel a little sick. But make sure you have gone at least 24 to 36 hours. Since there is no Naloxone in Subutex it is not like subuxone, Start with a small piece of sub try that and see if you get relief. If you are ok take a little more until you feel straight. Subutex is alot easier to get on then subuxone so make sure you are really sick or you will go through Precipitative Withdrawal Or Hell as I like to call it. Remember, less is more and the oxys will...

I am in treatment now but due to work schedule and distance from clinic to work I an in jeopardy of loosing my employment and I want to continue the treatment so I can come off of the methadone for ever. I need to find a doctor closer to Shelbyville than Nashville. Can a psychiatrist in the area also prescribe methadone? I do not want to change to suboxon ## I'm sorry, Paralee, but private doctor's aren't allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment. For addiction, it can only be given in a clinical setting, such as the one you're already going to, by those specially trained in its use for such. Learn more Methadone details here. I understand that the clinic is inconvenient, many others have asked this same question, however, as the law currently stands, it is your on...

I'm in the pretrial intervention program in the state of Alabama for a non drug related charge. My supervisor had to give me a drug test prior to releasing me. I take suboxone and I was smoking Delta 8. I quit both but I relapsed and took a piece of suboxone the day before my drug test. Well the only thing I tested positive for is THC from the Delta 8. Suboxone was not only the list of drugs that I'm being tested for. My supervisor is giving me another drug test. Does anyone know if suboxone (buprenorphine naloxone) would be listed separately just like fentanyl and methadone are? I have read some of the comments on other people's questions about suboxone and other drugs and they were very judgmental and rude. Please keep your judgmental and rude comments to yourself. Despite...

My son was shot on March 10, 2022. He had only received one dose of Sublocade and it expires today. The hospital he is in cannot give the shot, only the strip medication that doesn't help him with his opioid dependence at all. He has tried the strips, methadone, and everything else but always ends up taking other opioids that are around now with fentanyl, ending up right back where he started. The clinic that administers the shot cannot come to hospital, they can only give it if my son goes to their clinic. The hospital has only been prescribing 5 mgs of oxycodone - 2 pills every 4 hours as needed. Since the sublocade will be losing its effectiveness today and he is unable to get it, will he experience a significant amount of pain once it has completely worn off? With his long and v...

I am very pleased to say that I take all three of these great medications. The suboxone is the most important because it keeps me from craving other drugs which I used to abuse. I take 12mg a day. The Adderall XR 30mg is helpful with ADHD and staying alert. It keeps me going all day. And finally, last but definitely not least is the klonopin 1.5mg a day. Nothing else has touched my anxiety or made me feel so comfortable around people. Each med is important, and I would highly recommend this mix for anyone with anxiety, ADHD, and substance abuse disorder. Of course, they’re all controlled substances so you have to control yourself and be responsible, especially with a history of substance abuse. Other than that, just find a good doctor who cares and take them as prescribed. If you ...

Anyone know Tennessee pharmacies that carry or will order Hikma brand Buprenorphine? I was going to Knoxville for yrs but they wanted to play games with the price and I just cant afford $630 a month. I've been going to the same methadone clinic for 6 years. I'm on a low dose of 44mg a day and am a model patient. For me, methadone was the answer. It gave me a life. I was living a terrible life before that. I had an awful childhood, started doing drugs as a teenager, eventually got hooked on opiates and worked my way up the ladder from vicoden all the way to H. Multiple rehab and jail stints cleaned me up temporarily, but I always relapsed. The last few years I lived in hotel rooms, and did what I had to do to get money. I was miserable. Finally my boyfriend and I decided we had enough and joined a methadone clinic in a last ditch effort to end the pain of our lives. After the first 3 months I never got a dirty urine again. I earned my privileges one at a time, right on time, ...
