My name is Shannon i had a lexiscan myocardial. Perfusion stress test. I have a small partially reversible basilar to the mid inferiors suggestive of ischemia at50% change in count densities.And left vetricular ejection at 67%. How do thay correct this?

My friend's feet and ankles have been swollen and redish purple for about 6 months now. I gave birth to my 2nd child last april 29, 2013. She died on May 23, 2013 due to heart failure/severe pulmonary infection. She has EDWARD'S SYNDROME or TRISOMY 18. I have been on multaq for over 2 years and no more afib. I would like to wean myself off by reducing the dowager 50%. Will this work? Thanks Bill ## Hi, Bill! How are you? I'd suggest not reducing the dosage, until you consult with your doctor. If you do it too rapidly, it could cause a rebound effect, which may cause you to go into dangerous a-fib worse than that which you started taking it to treat. I have been on Multac for 3 yrs now. They put me on it after an ablation and I've only had one episode since and it went back into normal rythym just as the er doc was getting ready to hook me up to an IV. I've only had a total of 4 episodes in 4 years. But my heart rate jumps to 200+ when I do. My Dr was going to take me off of it but then I had that last episode and he has kept me on it. I want to go off and would like to know what might happen if I do stop after taking it for so long. I am a 60 yr old female with no other heart problems. I have experienced fatigue, hair loss and weight gain since being on Multaq, but that might also be age related??? i suffer from high blood pressure and the last couple of months my pulse became eradic, missing a beat and adding a extra beat. i als get chest pains wich increase in severity and then go away. i also have a stomach ulcer, could the pain come from the ulcer? my pulse rate is normal when i get these pains. ## Hi Robert! My husband has added drugs for congestive heart failure in the last few months. He has developed a rash. the dermotolist ,after a biopsy say it is a drug interreaction. the new drug are digoxin,furosmide,xarelto,potassium cl re. He has been on lopresser.avodart,ramipril and crestor for years with no side effects. The dermotiligist also prescribed prednisone,which did stop the rash, but once he stopped using it, the rash returned. Is prolonged use of Prednisone harmful? Have a St Jude valve and had a bad reaction to Warfarin. Is it safe to use together? ## From what I've read, there have been statements from clinical trials making note of an exaggerated initial response to Warfarin, following a heart valve replacement. However I haven't come across any other specific details on the topic, so unfortunately I don't know if this is referring to side effects or the medication's overall efficacy. I have no Ideal wat it is I found It can sombody tell me wat it is ## Based on the description provided, the closest match I could find is identified as Brilinta (ticagrelor) 90 mg. This pill is also imprinted with "T 90", but it happens to be yellow and not pink. Manufacturer: AstraZeneca Ticagrelor is used along with aspirin to prevent serious problems with the heart and blood vessels in people who have had a heart attack or severe chest pain. I know the color of the pill is different than you described, but I do wonder if the imprint suggests that they could be from the same manufacturer? If anyone else has thoughts on this that would be great!

My wife experienced alarming bradycardia (heart rate <50 bpm), weakness and dyspnea after only 5 doses of Multaq. She has been a long time user of the antidepressant Nardil. International package inserts (PI) disclose inhibition by MAOI's of Multaq's metabolic clearance. Regrettably the US PI does not disclose this potential for drug interaction. I have urged both Sanofi and the US FDA to correct this omission of useful information. ## In response to your request for more information: Heart rate returned to the normal range (~75 bpm) within 5 days of discontinuing Multaq. Everyone should research this drug for all the interaction it has with others. My husband was put on it, because he had an afib attack and was put in the hospital.At the time, my brother had just died, unexpectedly, and we were all very stressed. When he was admitted to the hospital, he was also found to have a strep infection. Evidently he had the infction for a long time. I told the Dr's and everyone, that I thought the attack was brought on by the infection and stress. The totally dismissed everything I said.
