what is the purpose for topamine? My Granddad is in the hospital. They have given him cephamine and are going to add topamine.

Hi jpd,

Are you referring to Dopamine perhaps?

Dopamine treats circulation problems caused by heart attack, heart failure, kidney failure, low blood pressure, or surgery.

Some side effects include: Headache, anxiety, Nausea or vomiting, tingling feeling, goosebumps, or "adrenalin rush."
