So I was in my boyfriends closet last week and I found these pills in one of his bags and the only imprint they have on them says RP 108 on one side. And the other side has nothing on it not even a line. There white and round tablet. I can’t find them anywhere online. If anyone knows or has an idea of what they are please let me know! Thank you. ## Are you sure it's 108 and not 103? The closest match I could find is RP 103 which is an OTC ultra-strength antacid; calcium carbonate 1000mg. NDC: 49035-0101 If it is RP 108 there is not listed information for such a pill.

The capsule is green on one side, blue on the other and contains 40 mgs of Omeprazole. I have been taking it for two weeks and just this weekend started experiencing back pain, groin pain and have a great deal of gas. Took one about 1 hour ago and my back is killing me and I am passing gas terribly. I am not taking any more of these pills. ## The one with the Mylan 5222 marking on both halves? Yes, these proton pump inhibitors can cause some gas and stomach pain as side effects. Learn more Omeprazole details here. And the groin and back pain may just be due to the excess gas. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, and flatulence. However, Pantop D also contains Domperidone, which is used ...

advantages of omeprazole over pantoprazole ## There really is no benefit to using one over the other, they both work the same and are in the same class of medications, proton pump inhibitors. However, just like any other medication, one may work better for someone than a different one does. There is really no explanation for why this happens, but it does. Has your doctor recommended one of them? Here are links to both: ## Actually Pantoprazole is becoming more prescribed and the tendency is to make it more prescribed than Omeprazole. The effect of both proton pump inhibitors is similar, but Pantroprazole is more safe when combined with (some) other drugs, since it has a lower affinity for the cit. P450 than Omeprazole, an enzyme responsible for the metabolism of many drugs. You can find...

is it ok to take Dexilant 60mg once daily and Omeprazole 40mg twice daily my dr put me on this i now have cough, runny nose, insomnia ## Dexilant contains Dexlansoprazole, which is really in the same class as the Omeprazole, but they can be used together if your doctor deems it necessary and is monitoring you. They both reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach, to treat or prevent conditions such as ulcers, heartburn, GERD and Gastritis. The only problem that some people run into is that they sometimes find out that they aren't producing enough stomach acid and it may take longer to digest foods, or they may experience nausea and vomiting, so make sure you watch for that and contact your doctor, if it occurs. Are there any other questions? ## Which medication is better to t...

I'll like to know if I have to take the alevian duo before or after meals ## Should I take alevian duo on an empty stomach? ## I was told take with meals. I like this, taking tablets on an empty stomach upsets me., stomach, that is. ## This antacid is usually best taken just before a meal, or while eating, so it has a change to prevent issues, such as heartburn, GERD, and gastritis, that could be caused by the food and beverages you are enjoying. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, diarrhea, and gas. There are some medications it should not be taken with, though. Are any of you on any other medications?

Hi I took an antibiotic 3 months ago and have been suffering from it since. I have symptoms of Neuropathy and dizziness etc from this horrible poison. (metronizadole) I don't know if the toxins are still in my body since the doctors say they are long gone. However the damage is not. Do you think taking activated charcoal would benifit me and if so where would I purchase this and what would be the dose? Thank you for your comments. ## No, they would not still be in your body, so activated charcoal wouldn't help, since it only removes toxins that are currently in your body and being digested. What may have happened, however, is that you had a bad reaction the medication and it caused permanent damage to your body. Learn more Metronidazole details here. What type of doctor have you...

I am taking nexium daily. I have found it necessary due to my rheumatoid arthritis drugs causing terrible acid reflux. It works for its purpose well, however I have found it has put about 30 to 40 pounds of weight on me since the start of the daily routine. If anyone else has suffered this fate i would hope you would comment under this thread. I feel the weight gain is much more common than the "rare" connotation that is associated in side effect listings. ## Hello, Mick! How are you? Yes, I have to agree with you. Most medications in this class do cause weight gain more frequently than that which is listed in the FDA side effect reports. However, there is also a chance that your other medications could also be contributing. What else do you take?

I was told from a friend that her son has a problem with gallstones and the outcome is he has constant diarrhea and his Dr said no need to do anything unless it becomes problematic. Is this true because l live on kaopectate and sometimes have pain below in my stomach. Can someone help me? I have it EVERYDAY and l am a diabetic. Please help me someone. ## What medication do you take to control your diabetes? The FDA does warn that most of them may cause nausea, dizziness, headache, gas, and diarrhea as side effects. Thus, your problem might not be the same as what her son is experiencing.

I tested positive for tramadol and all I take is omeprazole once a day. I've been taking it for about a month and don't take any other drugs because I am in recovery. How is this possible? ## Will taking omeprazole 20 mg give a false positive in a mouth swab? I also take risperidone, klonopin, and several other psych meds. ## I take Claritin-D, Midol Complete and Omeprazole almost daily and my drug test came up with a false positive. I don't do drugs, so I'm confused.
