What are the effects and side effects of Calten D? ## Calten-D contains: Calcium carbonate, Vitamin D3, and Elemental Zinc. This is simply a prenatal Vitamin and Mineral supplement to help support a healthy pregnancy. As far as side effects go, if the dose of this medication is higher than the US RDA (recommended daily allowance) there is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk (e.g., if the drug is needed in a life-threatening situation or for a serious disease for which safer drugs cannot be used or are ineffective). Can anybody tell me what anti-emetic (anti-nausea) medication(s) have worked best for them? And please be sure it's not in a suppository form. Oral (tablets) would be preferred. I'm even open to natural remedies along these lines. I've tried peppermint oil and it helps, but I would really love something completely effective. what is the difference between omeprazole & Rabeprazole ## I found an article that compares these two drugs in a case study. From what I was able to gather, both of these drugs are pretty much equal in all aspects including any possible side effects and their long term effectiveness. I need complete precribing information of Dexrabeprazolee. Further I need a comparison of Dexrabeprazole with Rabeprazole. How these two are different from each other? ## I wasn't able to gather much info on Dexrabeprazole; but I did find that dosage information is noted to be "10 mg once daily for 4-8 weeks depending upon condition and response. Maintenance – 5 -10 mg once daily". I would recommend clarifying this with your doctor just to be on the safe side though (since dosage length is based on your condition and response). My Doctor prescribed 50k units of vitamin D as he said my count was extreemely low last year and I took them with no problems. On my recent physical its still low so he gave me another prescription. I am unemployed with no insurance and cannot afford them. So I took the old container which had three left which expired 5/30/2011. I felt like all my bones were sore, I was dizzy and I had two days of sleeping all the time. I was eating healthy, skim milk, organic soy milk, eating yogurt for breakfast and taking tums when I have issues with stomach due to eating spicy foods. lanum used for what ## From the information I'm finding, it contains Calcium Acetate, which is most commonly used, when someone with diseases of the kidney has too much Phosphate in their blood, because it binds the phosphate in the blood to help lower the levels. And the dosage really depends on the condition being treated and its severity. For mild conditions, such as heartburn, a doctor will usually advise one daily, just before a meal. However, for more severe conditions, a person may require a higher dosage and a doctor will sometimes split it up into 2 daily doses.
