Can I take Prilosec OTC 20.6mg while taking Dexilant Caps. 60mg in the morning. ## Dexilant contains the active ingredient Dexlansoprazole, it is most commonly used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat GERD. Prilosec contains the active ingredient Omeprazole, which is a medication in the same class, thus using both is not advisable, because it is doubling up on the same type of medication. Have you consulted your doctor? If you are still experiencing heart burn and acid problems, while taking the Dexilant, it may not be the right medication for you.

how will I know the original and generic of this drug? which companies manufacture the original or what are the manufacturer names for the original drugs? ## The original would be the brand name product and would list that on the prescription, which would be AcipHex, the generic would be listed as just the generic/active ingredient name, which is Rabeprazole. On the other hand, if you have actually tried them for the correct time period and they have not helped, you might need to try a different medication. They have put me on one of these and it didn't help me, at all, and in addition, due ...

Razo-D contains the active ingredients Rabeprazole and Domperidone. And I am not certain it is going to help with your problem, since gas and stomach pain can actually be side effects of the Rabeprazole. For gas you might want to look into a product that contains Simethicone: And Loperamide is often used for diarrhea:
