Famotidine is commonly used in the treatment of peptic ulcer disease and gastroesophageal reflux disease. I don't know if it would stop one from vomiting in the first place, but it may reduce the odds of occurrence.

HI, I AM A 11 LBS. FEMALE MALTESE, 8 YEARS OLD. MY TUMMY HURTS TODAY, I VOMITED BILE THIS MORNING 3 TIMES. HOW MUCH OF THIS PILL SHOULD I TAKE? & HOW OFTEN?? I ATE MY BREAKFAST ALREADY. & IT STAYED DOWN. ABOUT 15 MINUTES AGO. OH LAST NIGHT I ATE A "LUDENS CHERRY COUGH DROP 15MG."I ATE ALMOST 3/4'S OF IT BERFORE MY DADY CAUGHT ME & TOOK IT AWAY. IS A LUDENS CHERRY COUGH DROP POISONOUS FOR DOGS??
