Dexilant Dr

I currently take Dexilant DR 60mg for acid reflux and I have 4 ulcers in my small Intestine. I dont seem to be getting any relief from the Ulcers. Does anyone have any suggestions? Im deperate. I was on Nexium 80mg's before I started the Dexilant. It too worked for a while than stopped.

How long did you take them?

It can take 12 to 16 weeks for these medications to help such conditions heal. When you are taking them, you should continue to take them for the full time your doctor has prescribed, even if you are still experiencing some symptoms.

On the other hand, if you have actually tried them for the correct time period and they have not helped, you might need to try a different medication.

They have put me on one of these and it didn't help me, at all, and in addition, due to its side effects, it actually made my stomach pain worse.

I had to switch to Pepcid, which contains the active ingredient Famotidine and is in a different class of antacids and it finally cleared up the Gastritis, that I had been suffering from.
