I recently found a large yellow pill, about the size of a nickel that has L478 printed on it. I'm not real sure what it is, it's a very soft yellow. ## I think what you describe is for chewable calcium antacid. There is an image Here. ## no, that is probably not an ecstasy pill. most likely, it is, as bowler suggested, a 500mg chewable antacid tablet, as seen here: ## Yes, it's a chewable antacid. These come in a variety of colors, powder green (lime), powder orange (orange), powder pink (cherry), and powder yellow (lemon). All bear the scribe L478 . Where can I purchase Pepcid Complete Mint Tablets? I live in the Bay Area of California and the major stores no longer stock it. I cannot locate the product on-line. ## I'm sorry, but it appears that they area no longer being manufactured, which explains why most places are listing them as being out of stock. In reality, this does make sense, because for many people any type of mint can cause worsening of heartburn symptoms, so they probably didn't sell very well. There are, however, other Pepcid products available on the market, so have you tried an alternative?

I have recently found out I have Celicas Disease lots of info out there but I'm getting mixed answers about is the prescription Omeprazole 40 mg gluen free?? Thx ## Who is the manufacturer? Omeprazole is a generic medication and the fillers used can vary from company to company, therefore there is no way to answer your question, without know what company made the particular product in question. I take Omeprazole CR 40mg 30min-1hr before supper. Is there a problem if I take my calcium at the same time. My calcium is time released. I take 2 tablets once a day. ## Hi Trudy, Based on the drug databases I checked, there aren't any interactions found between Calcium and Omeprazole. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but these databases state that they use every mean possible to ensure that their information is accurate. I hope this helps! ## Thank you, I appreciate the information.

I suffer from severe gerd, was diagnosed about 3yrs ago. I was on nexium but due to availability I changed to pantocid. My question is for how long can one be on either pantocid or nexium? ## Pantocid contains the active ingredient Pantoprazole, which is in the same class as the Esomeprazole in the Nexium, so they are both proton pump inhibitors that are used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach. The length of time for use can vary, depending on the severity of the condition being treated. You should follow your doctor's advice to get the best results. In most cases, they are used for anywhere from 8 to 16 weeks and the effects of using them long-term have not been studied. I should not be taking NEXIUM if I have a serious liver problem. I can looked it up on the internet! ## Have you discussed it with your doctor? Did they suggest you use Nexium? Nexium contains the active ingredient Esomeprazole, it is used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions such as heartburn and ulcers. what side effects does this have? will i get an upset stomach, diarreah? ## This is an iron supplement, it is used to prevent, or treat anemia, it is also sometimes given to pregnant women to make sure they get enough iron for both themselves and the baby. It may cause some nausea, when you take it, however, rather than diarrhea, iron usually causes constipation. If you have a problem with that, you might need to talk to your doctor about using a stool softener to help. Are there any other questions or comments?
