Gabapentin Withdrawals (Page 9)

I'm being taken off of Neurontin/Gabapentin after seven years. I'm now crying, anxious, and itching all over! I have tried antihistamines and cortisone creams but with no relief.

Magnesium relieves gabapentin withdrawls because gabapentin depletes the body of magnesium. Mag was s life saver for me. I've been clean from gabapentin for almost a year now. Will never take that crap again. Don't let the doctors fool you when they say it's safe and there are no WD symptoms. This crap can kill you, or for darn sure wish you were dead.

Going insane on nurotin or SATAN I. WOULDNT WISH THIS DRUG ON A LAB RAT REALLY HAVENT LEFT HOUSE IN A MONTH GOT HOOKED. ON IT AFTER SUBOXINE DIDNT NO HOW BAD IT WAS WITHDRAWL COULD JUST DIE NOW FOR WHAT I HAVE DONE WENT FROM 1600 MG TO 700 MG IN 6 WEEKS SEVERE INSOMNIA AND DEPRESSION BAD

It takes time. I was taken down from 3200 mgs to 1600 for 5 days then 800 for 5 days then nothing. That was in February. I too never left the house for a month. Insomnia, anxiety, stomach and chest pain. Was awful. Just in the past few months started feeling half human again. Still having some stomach issues the rest of withdrawal has gone.
If I would of been taken down slowly this wouldn't have happened.

Thank you Sandy seems like I'm getting worse I'm very isolated I don't watch tv or listen to music or ANYTHING I sit IN the same spot all day and feel like I should be in a mental hospital from this DEMON FOR REAL I haven't went to work in 6 weeks can't be around people it's CRAZY

Also after 10 years of opiates my brain can't heal I developed agoraphobia I can't BELEIVE IT IM SHOCKED I was coming off suboxine this medicinecliterally made me INSANE

I'm going crazy wondering if the neurotin caused this or was it extremely long oxycotin abuse 200mg a day then 2.5 years suboxine

Have you tried Xanax for anxiety? It really helped me mainly at night. Can't take a lot of it. Some people say Magnesium pills help then.

Yes I'm actually on zanax but they don't help .5 twice daily just ordered remag I will try ANYTHING AT ALL I JUST DONT GET IT SEVERE INSOMNIA I LITERALLY SLEPT 1.5 TO 2 HOURS A NIGHT ON AVERAGE THE LAST 29 DAYS STRAIGHT I HAVE MY OWN BLOOD PRESSURE CUP

You might try Epsom salt baths to! They seemed to help me some.

Thank you I will try to sit still in the tub my ANXIETY IS SO BAD. Can I ask you a question did you have DEREALIZATION like nothing is REAL? IN YOUR WITHDRAWL or is that just a CRAZY symptom I have thanks

No never had that. When it first hit me I thought I had a very bad case of the flu! Then anxiety, nervousness, fatigue, sleeplessness answer.and chest and stomach pain started. This was in February!! It was a long haul.. Think positive.

Ok thank you just curious I'm just messed up its CRAZY MIGHT BE DEPRESSION SYMTOM OF FROM SUBOXINE WITHDRAWL I HAD 4 NECK SURGERIES THATS WHY I WAZ ON TGE OPIATES SO LONG MAJOR REGRET TO SAY THE LEAST

Ive been on gabapentin for 5 months at 1200daily, how do i wean ? Im a insulin diabetic and having bad shakes, heart racing up to the 92-96. shaking from inside out. Sweats, cant sleep, not eating....Help Please,trying to find doctor...headaches, this is a bad drug to come off of..Bad drug,,,,,didn't help my neuropathy at all and now I'm a mess...was on lyrica, didnt even wing off that and was on for over a decade at 600 mg daily.
