My relative is 66 yrs old and had angioplasty twice in 2005 and 2014. Pls suggest good solutions. I take metformin to control diabetes. I failed a drug test because it was diluted, and a second drug test came back as being inconsistent with human urine. It seems there is paradoxical information, countering the anti aging claims there's articles stating Metformin actually shortened lifespans in male mice while extending it in females. Is Metformin a safe medication for non diabetic men, or even diabetic men?

Does the metal taste ever go away? I have been taking 1000mg 2x a day with meals since Feb. 3. Water taste terrible and most foods have a different taste.
