I am seven weeks in the program and I haven't lost an ounce of weight. I take the medication exactly when I'm supposed to. Every Saturday about the same time. Some of the comments I have read indicate that weight loss begins much earlier in the program. What are others experiencing? What am I doing wrong? ## I'm starting week 3 and I don't see any weight loss yet either. I'm hoping the higher dosages will solve this. Keeping an eye on protein and taking a multiple Vitamin to replace what I'm not eating. ] Has your appetite changed? Is the injection pens being done right?

Does anyone have experience with Wegovy side effects (e.g. diarrhea), how long they last, etc? ## Diarrhea is listed by the FDA as a very common side effect of Wegovy, along with headache, dizziness, bloating, and heartburn. Ref: Medline Plus Wegovy Side effects typically hit their peak at around 4 to 6 weeks, after starting a medication at a steady dose, then taper off in severity. Has anyone else that's been taking this medication experienced side effects? ## I think the diarrhea is happening less. That may be because I eat almost nothing. I’m afraid if I eat regular meals I will poop and throw up. ## The diarrhea went away until I moved up to 1.7. Now it is severe. I have been on Ozempic now for 5 weeks. I started at the .25mg and after two weeks, upped it to the 0.5mg. I have never felt so dang good! I'm 53, post-meno, non-diabetic, 5'4", and SW was 264. My current weight, after just one month was down 19lbs! Now I'm down 21lbs! I'd love to finally be 165lbs or so again. I haven't been that small since I was about 11 years old. Ozempic has saved me! I can't believe it. I actually look forward to the injection every week. I only had nausea for a little bit the day after I started. And since, then, it's been great! Has anyone had night sweats while on Mounjaro? I am taking 7.5 mg, I am beginning to think it is time to talk to my doctor. I am very happy on mounjaro, as I am a type 2 diabetic and it is keeping my A1c down to 5.9. ## Crazy because I had bad menopause symptoms sweating horribly then the minute I got put on Ozempic for diabetes 2 all those symptoms stopped. I'm wondering if anyone else started having injection site issues with Zepbound after a year and a half or so of problem free use. I'm suddenly experiencing painful swelling and bruising each week that never happened before. Also I'm seeing actual changing of body fat storage in injection sites. Almost like stored body fat melts away from the areas the shot is injected into. Has anyone else had either of these things happen with the use of this rx? Thanks in advance for sharing any experiences.

First month started with 5 mg. Just started the next month with 7.5 mg. Lost 14 pounds. Used to take 3 meds total. Now just once/week Mounjaro injection and Jardiance 25 mg daily. Which is better at treating constipation? Miralax or Metamucil? Plus Colace along with it? ## For most people who are already constipated, Miralax is usually the best choice. Metamucil is better for preventing constipation once things are moving normally. Colace often doesn’t add much benefit unless your stool is very hard.

This is my 4th month on Mounjaro and my 1st month on the 7.5 mg. My A1C is 5.7, down from 10. It is working great but the side effects from the 7.5 mg are rough. Extreme nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. My doctor wants me to increase to 10 mg but I can barely handle the 7.5 mg. Has anyone else experienced these side effects and do they eventually go away? ## I am just ending the 7.5mg injections as well and the side effects (nausea, vomiting, and extreme diarrhea) have me basically incapacitated! I have been on Mounjaro 7.5 mg for approximately 10 months. I experienced bedwetting the day after I took the shot. I know it weakens your muscles, but I never thought this would happen. Out of my last three shots, I have had nighttime bedwetting twice. Has anybody else had this problem?

Is anyone taking these medications been diagnosed with thyroid nodules and or thyroid cancer?

I am taking 7.5 of Mounjaro and 500mg of Metformin. Recently my Lipase came back 500. Has this happened to anyone else? I don’t hurt or feel bad, just a little nauseous.

I started last week 2.5. I was so nauseous. vomited and one day of diarrhea. It would just come on all of the sudden. I never had nausea this bad. Then back off. It finally subsided after 3 days but I felt sore in my stomach. I talked to doctor. Said try not to take the nausea meds. To eat bland diet. I was not hungry and probably had an empty stomach on my part I didn't want to eat feeling sick at my stomach anyway. 2nd week here. I wasn't going to do it. But going to try... this sucks. I was doing so well with Mounjaro, but my Doctor took me off it because of significantly increased liver enzymes / markers in a routine blood test. I am so disappointed and have been doing as much on line research as I can. So surprising given that reduced liver fat is supposed to be one of the benefits. I have read that it could be the speed of weight loss, rather than the Mounjaro itself, that caused this. Can anyone relate? ## Is one of the enzymes CYP3A4? My first injection was this past Thursday (3 days ago). And I’m on Weight Watchers. Can I expect a more than normal weight loss this first week on Wegovy (0.25 mg)? And please share your weight losses and how many pounds you’ve lost so far on this product. My weight loss has been about 1.5 lbs a week. I just recently stayed on the 1mg because the side effects were too hard to handle, bloat, nausea, vomiting, and cramping. My weight loss has slowed down to 1 -.5 lbs a week but at least I'm still losing.

My gastric side effects increased dramatically from .5 to 1mg. Nausea and constipation are my main symptoms. Anyone else have this issue? Will the next increase be worse? ## Yes, the jump from .5 to 1 was hard for me too. Couldn't eat more than 3 or 4 bites of food without feeling like I was going to explode or throw up. I have thrown up every 1 day after a shot. I'm only having a bowel movement once a week and the cramping is horrible. My doctor has kept me here on the 1mg. I just finished my 2nd month, still a few side effects, nausa etc. But I can eat at least enough to fuel my body and I don't have any food noise or as many side effects. My weight loss slowed down to .5 or 1 lb a week instead of the 1.5 or 2 I was getting increasing each month. I'm o.k. staying here ...

I've been on Mounjaro for 3 years for Type 2 Diabetes. A1C down from 15 to 5.9. The weight loss was a bonus. It took 3 years to lose 92 lbs. Of course I haven't worked out, is it too late to tighten my upper arms and thighs?

Reading the forum I see that several people have gotten to very high doses very quickly. I just started a week ago at 2.5 and see the doc for bloodwork at 4 weeks. If she sees I'm doing well with all numbers including weight loss, the plan is to continue on that dose another month or longer as long as results are positive. Since I did have nausea and sulfur burps first few days, I'm fine with that. I just don't understand getting to 10 in 4 months. Can someone explain that?

Have almost lost all I wanted to. I understand it is likely that when I come off Mounjaro, my weight/appetite likely to increase, and I don't know whether to try & lose few more kilos to have 'some thing in hand'. Any views please?

Recently (6 weeks) had a pancreas scare with a CT scan (later unfounded) and my doctor took me off Mounjaro. I have since developed intermittent diarrhea. I will start my day with a normal poop. Then I may have one or 2 more loose stools or some diarrhea. I have no other symptoms except increased gas. This appears more after dairy. No gastric distress, bloating or pain, no fever. Any thoughts?

Has anyone else noticed their skin tingling quite badly, a bit like you feel when coming down with the flu? I have been on Mounjaro for 6 months now, on the highest does.
