where can I find H86 cancer supplements ## @reiner, H-86 is quite simply 'fermented wheatgerm extract' marketed under various brand names such as "Avemar", "AvéUltra", and "AWGE"; which you can find available on many sites via google. Its cost is in the ballpark range of $150. That may seem a bit steep depending on how much you get, but I guess you can't put a price on your health! I also have yet to come across reviews / success stories, though, a lot of my research suggests that it works for many types of cancer. Has anyone else here taken this supplement with notable results?

I have taken Exemestane made by Greenstone for two years. Now the pharmacy has switched to Exemestane made by Alvogen. Are they of equal quality and effectiveness? ## Hello, Katie! How are you? Yes, it has to be proven to be of the same quality and efficacy to be available on the U.S. market. The FDA lists this medication as being used to treat great cancer. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, visual disturbances, headache, insomnia and depression. Is there anything else I can help with?

My friend started taking Lynparza 2 days ago, and is suffering with severe confusion and exhaustion. Her pupils are constricted. Has anyone experienced these symptoms with this med? ## Hello, Ava! How are you? I'm sorry about what your friend is going through. But to be quite honest and realistic, all cancer fighting medications tend to cause some severe and problematic side effects, it's just the nature of the beast, I'm afraid. Everything you listed is included by the manufacturer, Astra Zeneca and the FDA as possible side effects. She may also experience altered sense of taste, heartburn, back pain, diarrhea and loss of appetite. How is she doing?

I have stage IV breast cancer. After being unable to control cancer with different endocrine therapy my oncologist put me on Fulvestrant. The main problem that I have had is joint pain that has been made worse because of history of arithis. I have gained a considerable amount of weight (25 lb) which has made joint pain worse. My general practitioner put me on Belviq to help lose some weight. I am unsure if I should take it even though she said it wouldn't interfere with Fulvertrant. In the past my oncologist wouldn't discuss any weight control options even though he is aware of joint pain. His solution was to eat less and exercise more. I exercise 3 times a week in therapeutic pool and eat healthy. I really don't want to up pain medication. I believe weight loss would help j...

I am a 55 year old woman on hormone replacement .I have to get my prescription through mail order, and they wrote and said " medications that contain methyltestosterone have now been classified as a controlled substance". I take a estrog/methyl 1.25/2.5 every day . They also say that due to a new law through DEA I will now have to get my prescription as a 6 month supply or 5 refills max. Can you tell me if this is true or are they just jerking people around? ## Actually, it's been classified that way since 1990, under the Anabolic Steroids Act, it just hasn't been enforced previously. Learn more Methyltestosterone details here. There have been a lot of crackdowns happening recently to force pharmacies to start complying with laws that they were previously ignoring. So ye...

I am in urgent need of getting 120 tabs of votrient. I am paying fully from my pocket as I do not have insurance coverage. I would like to know the price and is there any way to reduce these expenses? ## I am 76 yrs old taking Votrient 800mg a day for metastatic renal cancer for the past 8 month. My disease is currently stable. I just received my last order of votrient 400mg it comes as 60 tabs per package (one month supply) from the internet. It is the brand medication made by GSK in the UK. I paid $6300. saved about $3500 times 3. A few month ago I did a market search and found out that there are many companies selling it from India. I was diagnosed with endometrial hyperplasia stage 3 - stage 4 is cancer. I had a D&C around november by gynecologist and was referred to robotic oncologist who prescribed the Megestrol. Since I am morbid obese, I did not know about the weight gain with the megestrol and have gained about 20 lbs in two months to my surprise; so when requesting a refill, i was told by pharmacist these tablets were for people who have trouble eating (not for cancer treatment as I was told by robotic oncologist). The oncologist is planning a hysterectomy around June 2015 because he wants me to loose as much weight as possible from a proposed bariatric surgery because the OR table has to be slanted in a certain position which makes my weight press on my chest making breathing hard for me. I do not know ...

How does this medication cypron work? What is it indicated for? Are there any side effects? ## Hi ikem, According to Wiki, Cypron (cyproterone) is a steroidal anti-androgen that apparently was "never marketed". I don't know if this is still the case, but after reading that, I'm curious to know how or if you managed to get it prescribed? Its indications state that it is intended for use as hormone therapy for treating certain types of cancer, but also has a number of other uses geared around its progestational properties (i.e. severe acne, or hirsutism in females) As far as side effects are concerned, there are honestly too many to list on here without writing a small children's book Lol. But to name a few that I came across: hair loss, weight gain, loss of libido, we...

I began Sprycel January 1, d/ced it 1/30. How soon can I expect that it is completely out of my system? ## Soon after beginning Sprycel, I experienced shortness of breath, and serious edema, plus serious tiredness. My MD and I agreed to stop the Sprycel, be off CML Rx for 1 month, resume Gleevec which I had taken before. It is now 2 weeks later, I am improved, more energy, less (but still present) edema. Should I expect further improvement, or suspect that my symptoms, although coincident with taking Sprycel, may not be due to the Sprycel? ## Hello, Melba! How are you feeling? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. Those can be typical side effects of Sprycel, as listed by the FDA. However, you may need some help to remove that edema, such a your doctor prescribin...

I was prescribed megace for endometrial lining too thick. About six weeks ago I had a hysteroscopy and a d&c...she scrubbed the ablation because it looked too suspicious...but, she was prepared to call someone else in. The Megace worked pretty well before the procedures. It was just a matter of which dosage would work.. Went from once a day...didn't work. Went to twice a day...didn't work. Went to three times a day...didn't work. Finally, at four times a day...it worked. Then, I had those two procedures. Now, we are back to figuring out what to do. Went from twice a day and now back to four times a day. Bleeding and cramping have gotten much worse. Follow up with doc on Wednesday to go over my options. I hope it will be the "h" word...hysterectomy. I am 47 and ha...

I was going to the same doctor for 11 years. I went there back a few months ago and was told he could not write anymore opiate prescriptions. I have looked every where i could to find out what happened but nothing. Can someone tell me why? ## Because the state took away his ability to write those rx's. This is done when the doctor has shown that he isn't able to prescribe responsibiley, when he has a substance abuse problem himself or when he is in trouble for now following the state and/or federal laws. If he is still practicing, chances are he didn't do anything illegal, just irresponsibley. Some state medical boards post the drs that have lost this priviledge along with the reason(s) ## While what BL said is a possibility, right now, it is most likely that the doctor hasn...

please help me with this small yellow pill it is alittle raised has a M on a line and a 1 under the line thank y6ou so much ## Hello, Donna! How are you? From what I can find in the prescription drug identification databases, there are two possibilities. If the yellow is a deeper yellow that seems mottled with some white/lighter areas in it, then it is a 2.5mg Methotrexate tablet. The FDA lists it as being used to treat cancer and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, blurred vision and upper stomach pain. However, if it is a paler yellow that is solid in color, then it is a Clorpes tablet, it contains 15mgs of Chlorthalidone and 0.1mg of Clonidine, it is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. Typical side effects are listed as possibly including dizz...
