From what I can find in the prescription drug identification databases, there are two possibilities.
If the yellow is a deeper yellow that seems mottled with some white/lighter areas in it, then it is a 2.5mg Methotrexate tablet. The FDA lists it as being used to treat cancer and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, diarrhea, blurred vision and upper stomach pain.
However, if it is a paler yellow that is solid in color, then it is a Clorpes tablet, it contains 15mgs of Chlorthalidone and 0.1mg of Clonidine, it is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. Typical side effects are listed as possibly including dizziness, nausea, constipation, dry mouth and headache.
