Is Ergo 7 + contraindicated when taking Warfarin ? Thanks, Pat ## When it comes to comparing natural supplements with prescription drugs, there unfortunately doesn't appear to be any reliable source of information pertaining to possible safety concerns or interactions. After looking at the ingredients in Ergo 7, I have no reason to believe that there would be an interaction of any kind. However you may want to play it safe by starting with a small dose and just working your way up to see how you respond to the combination. I hope this helps. It definitely looks like a supplement that I would consider trying!

I moved from Warfarin to Pradaxa 1.5yrs ago. I was having to have blood tests quite frequently with my INR decreasing or increasing despite trying to maintain a correct diet. I have been so much healthier with Pradaxa and have returned to competitive swimming, At age 65 I am swimming 100 M Medley's. I keep getting much faster in the pool. I am not sure if it is connected but I changed my diet to only include Fish/ skinless chicken-sometimes, Fresh Fruits and Vegetables and Muesli for breakfast. Is it safe to take warfarin Mg-4 and Hydrocodon-acetaminophen 5-500 together on the same day? ## Taking them together may increase your INR and the risk of bleeding, because the Acetaminophen may make your Warfarin more effective. It isn't that they can't be taken together at all, but that the prescribing doctor should be monitoring your INR levels even more closely than usual to adjust your Warfarin dosage, if necessary. Is it safe to take Warfarin and Hydrocodon-acetaminophen 5-500 together on the same day? ## They can be taken together, but it may affect your INR, since the Acetaminophen can make the Warfarin a little more effective, so it can increase the risk of bleeding. Has anyone heard of Pradaxa being used for blood clot patients who don't have atrial fibrillation? Primarily to achieve the benefits of no frequent blood testing? ## Pradaxa contains the active ingredient Dabigatran, which is just another oral anticoagulant. Learn more Pradaxa details here. You can even look at the information at the link I provided and it lists it as sometimes being used as an alternative to Warfarin, since it doesn't require the frequent tests. There are several others under investigation for this use, as well. Are there any other questions or comments?

I have been on Warfarin for 3 years with no known problems. I want to consume diatomaceous earth and can't find anything saying if it is o.k. to do so. ## Hi Anita, Although I can't seem to find any specific details on interactions with Diatomaceous Earth, it is regarded as a non-toxic, safe substance made up from fossils of freshwater organisms. In my opinion it should be fine to incorporate with a prescription drug, but you may want to feel more assured by talking to your doctor. Have you taken this supplement in the past with any success? ## No. I have never taken it but have been reading a lot of positive information on it. Hi, I have been taking warfarin for 5 months. I´have accident during skiing and I´have had thrombosis and embolism. But now, my doctor wants me to stop taking warfarin (little by little, it will takes two months probably...). The problem is, that I know that I will be afraid of having embolic again, I´m 23, I can´t imagine it now, I mean live with fear for the rest of my life. I know, there are worse things, It´s no big deal if we compare it with serious illneses, I know... Is there anyone, who don´t use warfarin anymore? After thrombosis, embolism... Pradaxa mostly used as a substitute for warfarin (Coumadin ) for atrial fibrillation but there are also response of tamoxifen side effects such as unusual bleeding, short breath etc. There are also some response of having dehydrated, dryness of mouth/eyes. The positive side is that It does not require regular blood tests and it actually works better in few cases. Pradaxa might be a good substitute of warfarin but need more attention in long term use and in some specific cases.

My friends' mom can't afford her plavix right now and I still have my dads plavix from when he said passed.its the same mg and its not expired. can she take it? Also wut should I do with my dads other meds? ## Did you give it to her? There is no difference, just because it was prescribed for a different person, it is still the same medication. As to what to do with medications that are no longer used, or that are expired, the FDA guidelines direct you to mix in with some undesirable substance, such as used kitty litter, or wet used coffee grounds then dispose of the whole mess in the trash. I think what you'd need to do is comb through the top 200 drugs list that released each year. So, on that not, what year are you looking for information on? Whether Warfarin Is An Interaction With Carbamezapine , Zonimide,ramipril And Clobazam ## I had stroke in the year 2001 at that time Dr advised me to take warfarin and maintain INR upto 1.5 and also gives me anti epiliptic drugs, in the year 2003 I suffered Cardiac Attack ,during the angiographay Cardiologist informed me that there was no Cardiac Attack and advised me that the same was due to problem in my blood and advised to perform DNA test .In DNA test I found Hetrogyous and doctor advise to maintain INR in between 2-2.5 and advised me to take anti epiliptic drugs and Cardace. I am from Bhopal ,India and the DNA test was performed in CMC Vellore India.

Is this safe to use for weight loss? Is it safe to take Doxycycyl hyc with Warfarin ? ## They can be taken together, but your doctor should be monitoring your INR regularly, because the Doxycycline may increase INR and thus, also raise the risk of bleeding. what does clopidogrel 75 mg tab look like? ## Small , round pill with 41 imprinted on one side. Other side is blank. Pill is orange in color. Manufacturer is AUROBINDO Pharma Pill is not scored.
