I was given a prescription of small orange round pills with 41 imprinted on one side. Is it clopidogrel 75 mg?ONCZA ## They describe the color as pink, but that is a matter of perspective, but yes it does contain 75mgs of Clopidogrel. Learn more Clopidogrel details here. Is it possible for Effient to lower my White Blood Cell Count? ## I wouldn't say it's not possible, but this is probably something you'd have to have a blood test for in order to truly determine whether or not it really does lower your white blood cell count and more importantly, by how much? NOTE: This medication works by preventing platelets (a type of blood cell) from collecting and forming clots that may cause a heart attack or stroke. I hope this info helps!

I have a friend who has just started taking Sintrom, I am trying to help him sort out his diet, he has been advised to loose some weight, can anyone have a link to a site that could advise what foods he shouldn't have when taking sintrom, I understand it's foods high in vitamin K, but is there other foods which should be avoided. My wife has a leaflet valve in the mitral position, an A-V node ablation with pacemaker and constant A-fib. She has been on coumadin for 30 years and within the past few years has begun to get purple patches on her arms that are not bruises. They appear to be very near to necrosis as any damage to these areas becomes an open lesion. She also has unstable INR and tests weekly with a CoaguChek meter. Her cardiologist is unwilling to try the 100mcg concurrent vitamin-K therapy as an attempt to stabilize INR. It would appear that Pradaxa if approved for mechanical valve protection would get her out of the high risk of INR instability, the purple spots on her arms and maybe prove cost effective. My question, is there any hope that Pradaxa will be approved for her condition in the near future...

Since I have been on generic Plavix (apo-clopidogrel) I have noticed that my bleeding time is almost normal and not long as it was when I took Plavix. Dosage is 75mg a day. This worries me because I have a cardiac stent and don't think that my blood should clot this fast with this drug. ## There can sometimes be some minor fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient in a generic medication. please could anybody help am trying to find warfarin tablets that are not encased in lactose as my mum has an extreme intolerance to lactose,it seems that here in england that if you are not a text book case they are not interested in you,she,s now been prescribed aspirin to try and stabilise blood levels,many thanks hope somebody can help ## I am also looking for warfarin that is lactose free I would like to know the answer to the above question.

i have pulmonary embolism for the last 18 months and have been taking warfarin 10mg sometime 12 mg depending on the INR value at 6pm everyday. Now i have been diagonised with thyroditis and been prescribed 50mcg of Thyronorm-thyroxine sodium tablets ip which is taken every morning. Hi, My Dad recently started using Pradaxa and I had no idea how serious of a switch it was from Warfarin. I was shocked to find out he could die from Internal Bleeding. Has anyone had this problem while using the drug Pradaxa? I found a website with some great information that has answered some of my questions, but I still want to hear from an actual user. After post dvt have been taking warfarin for 3 weeks now and still can't get the required inr levels to level out . Have been on 13 mg daily for the last week and my inr did go up to 2.6 after 3 days but went down to 2.4 and last check was 2.0 . I don't eat or drink anything with vitamin k . My doctor doesn't seem to know why with such a high dosage of warfarin my inr level is dropping . If anyone can give me some insight to a reason for this I would be very grateful . Hi i suffered DVT a second time in Dec 2011,was on Warfarin whole of 2011 till March 2012,i stopped after visiting a doctor whom after various tests indicated i had no reasons to continue with therapy.I am now experiencing sharp pains on my left thigh,i can hardly manage stairs ,could it be DVT again? ## Yes, it is possible that it is a recurrence. Is the pain similar to what you experienced before? Can Lexamil be taken with Warfin? ## Usually, it's recommended that the combination be avoided, because it can increase the risk of bleeding, they tend to have a synergistic effect on each other and thin the blood even more. My husband had undergone angioplasty 10 months ago. He has been prescribed Cardace 10 mg, clopilet 75 mg, ecosprin 150 mg, covance D, rosuvas 20 and amlopres AT. How long should he continue with all these medicines. Is it ok if he takes either ecosprin or clopilet as in my opinion both these medicines are for thinning of blood. Please suggest. ## First, I would like to state that this site is not medical professionals, so we cannot possibly suggest any changes or duration to his use of these medications. I am a 64 year old male living in Spain & have been taking Sintrom on its own for about a week. I was previously taking 150mg of Heparin by injection daily + varing amounts of Sintrom.
