Someone Using Another Persons Medicine
UpdatedMy friends' mom can't afford her plavix right now and I still have my dads plavix from when he said passed.its the same mg and its not expired. can she take it? Also wut should I do with my dads other meds?

There is no difference, just because it was prescribed for a different person, it is still the same medication.
As to what to do with medications that are no longer used, or that are expired, the FDA guidelines direct you to mix in with some undesirable substance, such as used kitty litter, or wet used coffee grounds then dispose of the whole mess in the trash.
Alternatively, you can take them to any pharmacy and they will gladly dispose of them for you.
