I have been taking this for the past year for high blood pressure and heart problems. ## This medication is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders, as reported by the NIH. Can Tellzy 40 be taken in place of Valent 40 for managing high blood pressure? ## Tellzy contains the active ingredient Telmisartan, while Valent is listed as containing Valsartan, so while they are in the same medication class and treat the same conditions, they are different medications and a different dosage may be required, if you switch from one to the other. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with?
I was on Propranolol 80mg extended-release tablets for 2 days for my anxiety. I know it's bad to suddenly stop taking beta-blockers, but I had to because my heart rate was too low and I felt horrible. I was told by a doctor that I should be ok to just stop altogether. I really just wanted some reassurance. Will I be ok? I stopped about 2 days ago, and my heart rate seems fine. ## OMG story of my life! I was prescribed Propranolol 80mg for anxiety also and just stopped taking them cold turkey 2 days ago because it was lowering my blood pressure and heart rate way too much, making me dizzy/light headed, etc. I feel awful right now, I have a headache, weird heart palpitations/fluttering, weakness, fatigue, sweating, etc. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and I'm going to speak t...
I am 72, taking Telma 80mg after breakfast and Amlopress 5mg after dinner. Usually my BP in the morning is 140/85 but only after a breakfast of fruits like bananas, pomegranates, dates, apples, guava, etc. However, my BP frequently rises at times to 175/98, instead of decreasing, after about 2 hours. Is it due to the potassium in the fruits? For the last two days I've also been feeling dizziness. Should I switch to some other medicine for hypertension? I play tennis in the evening for half an hour. My pulse is about 65 bpm.
UpdatedCan you explain to me if there is any difference between the two Benazepril listed above. When I was taking the one ending with Zen I had absolutely perfect BP all the time and then my last RX I recieved the one ending with AMN and my bp has gone sky high. The ZEN is a pink triangle with the code 5126 on one side and 93 on the other side. The one ending in AMN is white round with an A on one side and the other side is marked with the number 53. ## They are both Benazepril, they are just manufactured by different companies, the one with the 93 5126 is manufactured by Teva and the one with the A 53 is made by Amneal. However, there are a couple possibilities that could explain why you no longer have good blood pressure control. The first and most likely is that you've simply grown tol...

I started taking this drug 2 days ago as the beta blocker I was on was making me feel terrible but I am having the same side effects. My heart is pounding, I feel nauseous and very weak all day. My blood pressure readings have however improved. Should I keep on taking the drug and hope as my body gets used to it the side effects will wear off? However, it is always best to have such symptoms checked out to be safe. Is there anything else I can help with?
What is a "L 235" big oval shaped pill? I thought that it replaced a VH2 for high blood pressure. ## That is correct, it is list as containing 80mgs of Valsartan and 12.5mgs of Hydrochlorothiazide. I have been taking Lisinopril /HCTZ 20-25mg. I,m out. In the future, it would be best to make sure you pick up a refill, before you run out, since missing doses could be dangerous. Have you consulted your doctor?
My md said to either stop losartin or captripril no explanation just said I needed to stop one so I said losartin I have been on captrapril since I was 35 150 mg was put on losartin (cozaar) in96 after bypass surgery now my body is going up what should I do my dosage for losartin is100 mg Earline ## There is no harm in asking them why they told you to stop one. It is most likely because either your blood pressure, or heart rate is too low, perhaps both. The typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. And yes, there will be a period where your blood pressure and heart rate go up, after stopping the Losartan, but it shouldn't be a serious/dangerous raise, since you are still taking the other one. How are you doing, now? ...
