Wheezing With Candestartan

Has anyone experienced wheezing as a side effect of this drug. Currently on 16mg pd,just started a week ago. Was swapped from lisinoprol after developing a persistent cough. Still have cough but wheezing now too. Do not have asthma.

A cough can be a side effect, according to the FDA, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination.

However, wheezing is not and you should have it checked out by your doctor to be safe.

Are either of you on any other medications?

Thank you both. Beginning to think wheeze is not caused by these tablets and am looking at other causes.Also on statins and occasionally indomethacin for gout attacks.
