I was on 50 mg for a few years and my doctor increased it to 100 mg because my bp was still high. I now have high resting heart rate and I am feeling dizzy often. Could this be because of the jump to 100 mgs?

Yes, these symptoms could be due to the raise in your dosage, according to the NIH, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and increased urination.
