Plus has this combination wrkd for anyone. Only thing they have found is low calcium in my body. ## Hi, Beanie! How are you? Sometimes, there just is no explanation for why someone develops high blood pressure. I haven't been on that exact combination, but I've had to take other medications in those same classes. Updated in MetoprololI have been taking Toprol XL for 4 years. Can I replace it with Diovan? ## I am 53 and take 100mg Toprol Xl each morning. I exercise at least 40 minutes 5 days per week (cardio) at the lunch hour. I am the CEO of our company and do experience stress on a regular basis. I am 6'4 tall and 225 pounds. I have been taking toprol for a few years now and recently was increased to 100 mg because my BP was up. My husband has been taking this in place of benicar and we wondered if this could be causing these blotches that itch like crazy. ## Has he contacted his doctor? Losartan is different than Benicar, which contains the active ingredient Olmesartan, so it is possible that he's having an allergic reaction, even if he never had a problem with the Benicar. ## I am 45 years old.I was only a little hypertensive but the doctor recommended Losar H which i have been taking for the past 6 years. I have lot of difficulty in getting used to this drug as I have constant dryness in my throat, dry cough, dizziness, nausea. Recently I started having itchy red patches on my leg and lower back ...

Is there a medicine like coveram that is international meaning generic and readily available in most countries of the world. Palau is a former US territory and they follow US law regarding medicines.
UpdatedHi everyone who is suffering the horrible side effects of Metoprolol withdrawal (including myself). I just got off about 4 days ago. I am doing a cleanse to get this stuff out of my body. Also eating a lot of fruits, veggies and fiber rich foods. I'm feeling a little better today. Day 2 & 3 were HORRIBLE. Juicing is also beneficial. Just thought this may help. ## Hi, Becky! Sorry about the problems that you're having. However, Metoprolol is a beta blocker that's used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions, so it shouldn't cause serious withdrawal effects. The most serious problem that usually occurs, when someone stops taking it is due to the rebound effect that it can cause. This can result in someone developing seriously elevated blood pressure...
is carca-25 safe to take for high blood pressure ## Hi, Charlotte! How are you? Carvedilol is no more or less safe than any other medication and it is actually known to cause less side effects than many others. Learn more Carvedilol details here. Really, it is much safer to take the medication your doctor wants you to try, than it is to just let your blood pressure continue to soar out of control, since that creates the risk of heart attack, stroke and congestive heart failure. Has your doctor prescribed it?

There is a small white pill inside my generic 5/20 Lotrel capsule. Is the pill amlodipine or benazepril? ## Do you have any info on who the manufacturer is? Other than contacting the manufacturer directly, I don't believe there's anyway to ID a pill (which was inside of another pill), unless it has imprints or markings to verify it. Also, if there's only one pill inside, wouldn't that mean they are combined into the same tablet? If the capsule is just a shell, it makes good sense for this to be the case. ## There are two manufacturers of the generic Lotrel (amlodipine/benezapril) The Teva product (pink and white) doesn't contain that other pill, but the Dr. Reddy Labs (orange and pale beige) does. I don't know the answer to your question. I asked my doctor about ...

MY son, cousins and I were started on this medication from the cardiologists and primary doctors. We both had awful side affects with this medication. Each time when telling the doctors of the side effects the doctors wanted to continue to prescribe this medication. Extremely fatique, diarrhea, terrible chest pain, shortness of breath, excessive abdominal swelling, ecessive water retention, edema. Constant pain from legs and ankles swollen so bad that causes pain all the time making it almost impossible to stand, sit or walk. Why is it that the doctors are still recommended this medication? ## Hi Leroy, I completely agree with you that doctor's shouldn't be recommending things with so many adverse effects. To them it seems to be all about the money and not the patient's well...
found this pill and want to know what my son is taking and what it is for ## There are no listings for anything matching this description in any of our U.S. prescription drug resources. Have you tried asking your son about it? That type of marking, with no other letters or numbers leads me to suspect that it is something available over the counter. Does anyone recognize this tablet? ## If the pill is a little white pill with UL on one side and III (3 lines on the other side) it is Bisoprolol-HCTZ 10-6.25 MG tablet and generally used for Blood pressure control
