My 6 year old son takes 1 mg of Tenex and 10 mg of Ritalin in the morning once a day for Add /Adhd combination. Can he take Musunix Dm for his bad cold? ## Hello, Iris! How is your son? To be honest, no medication should be given to a child, without their doctor's approval, especially when they are taking prescription medications. Young children may suffer more pronounced side effects or interactions than adults, so you should always check into it, before dosing. Are there any other questions or concerns?

I have had tachycardia and high bp for a week now. I went to the ER cause my resting HR got it 146. My normal values are 120/78 and HR low 70s. In the past week my hr has been between 90-100. I'll even wake up at night with HR bring 100. I can't even stand up without it spiking my HR. I had quite a few blood tests, EKG, echocardiogram and holter monitor and everything has come back fine. In 24 and healthy.... I've have never ever has and heart issues before. My GP gave me 5mg of bystolic to get my HR down til we figure it out. I've also stopped my newer BC pill that I started a little over two months ago to see if that caused the high bp? If I develop any bad side effects from this, because it's a low dose can I just stop taking it? ## BC pills can cause these types ...

Does it affect blood pressure ? ## Hello, Joseph! How are you? I can't find a listing of the ingredients that are in this medication, only statements that it is an nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. And if that is the case, yes NSAIDs can cause blood pressure elevation, as well as fluid retention. Is there a listing of the ingredients on the package?

My BP has been well controlled in the UK on 10mg daily +a diuretic. However, after coming to Florida on vacation where temps have been around 80-90+ degrees I felt terrible after playing golf despite taking a large intake of water and salts during the round. On arriving back 'home' I checked my BP which was 90/58! I found I had to reduce my Felodipine to 2.5mg and stop the diuretic because even sitting out in the sun for an hour dropped my BP. I am a retired doctor and had never seen or read about this effect though when considering Feloipines mode of action it seems logical though I agree these observations could lead to a teleological conclusion. However, I felt other users should be aware ofthem. Stopping the diuretic (indapamide) alone had no effect. ## I am very sorry about...

I just started taking adempas and already i have so many side effects its making life hard i just want to talk to other people and get their take on it. ## I just started today and have only taken my first pill and feel loopy and tired. I'm concerned about getting to higher dosage if this is what the lowest dosage does to me. Have you been able to move up on dosage and did side effects get better? ## Hello, Krissybear! How are you doing? What types of side effects are you experiencing? It is highly likely that you're both dealing with a double whammy of sorts, both the side effects from starting a new medication, as well as your body adjusting to the lowering of your pulmonary hypertension. It is a sudden change to your heart, some of the pressure and workload is being taken off...

After almost 4 years on Lisinopril 5mg, I started experiencing moderate dizziness and drowsiness. The symptoms begin about 1-2 hours after I take my medicine, and peak about 4 hours after taking it. I saw another person on the forums just recently had a similar issue which they had linked to a change in the manufacturer. Interestingly enough, I was able to pinpoint the day that my problems started - and it happened to be on the day I had my prescription refilled. On a whim, I checked my Walgreens and sure enough, in the past 30 days, they had also switched to a new manufacturer as well. I'm checking with my doctor now, but thought I would post this here in case anyone else finds it helpful. ## Hello, Paul! How are you? There's a chance that the new tablets you received are a lit...

My father is in cardiac intensive care following bypass surgery and has been given this drug. I'm trying to find out more information about this drug. thanks, Jenny ## My mother is in ICU as well and she is on a propolol drip. It is used for persons who are intubated and allows for assisted ventilation without a decrease in cardiac output. The downside is that there is an associated drop in blood pressure when the propolol is increased. Generally the drug seems to be used for such anesthctic purposes in ICU when patients need to be calm and passive. Hope this helps, and that your father is better. ## My wife sufers the Crest Syndrome for more than ten years. Hes condition is stable. The worst part is the accumulation of calcium in her fingers. This med is amazing at bringing down by bp however I still feel like my head is foggy. My heart races to up 100. Does this go away ? This is week 2 ## How much fluid are you taking in each day? This medication contains Azilsartan and Chlorthalidone, the latter of which is a diuretic that removes excess fluid from your body. If you aren't taking in enough to make up for it, then dehydration could be what's causing your symptoms. Aside from the foggy headed feeling, it cause your blood pressure to drop too low sometimes, so your heart works harder to make up for it and that may be why it's racing. Have you consulted your doctor?

My husband takes this pill and he is a diabetic with kidney disease. This medicine has his legs and feet feeling cold all the time and he is in pain. What can he do to prevent this or help with the coldness? Also, is there another high blood pressure medication that he can take that will not cause these side effects and is safe to take with his diabetic medicine and wont cause a lot of harm to his kidneys? ## Hello, Jackie! How are you? What other medications does he take? I'm not saying that the Labetalol doesn't cause this, because it can, but it is very unusual. It's actually known to usually cause fewer side effects than most similar drugs. Has he consulted his doctor?

On one side of the red pill is a S on the other side there are the numbers 342. I don't want to take this new medication if it is not the right medication. ## Hello, Fay! How are you? Is the marking ETH 342? If so, then yes, you have received the correct medication, 10mgs of Benazepril, it's just manufactured by a different company than the other ones that you were taking. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and cough. Is there anything else I can help with?
