I know someone that's taking kalotapins 1mg and they don't help her. Is it true that if she was to take a xanax instead of a kalotapin that she would take more of those a day than a kalotapin? ## @Buttons, I think you may have meant to say "Klonopin", is this correct? From what I can tell, both Alprazolam (Xanax) and Clonazepam (Klonopin) are in the same drug class of benzodiazepines. This means that they work in very much the same way, with the slight exception of one working faster and/or longer than the other, based on what inactive ingredients they use in each tablet respectively. Klonopin is also reported to have a longer half-life than Xanax, so in that aspect, she may have the desire to take more Xanax within a 24hr period since it doesn't last quite as long a...

Okay, so I know this is an unusual question. I took 21mg of Clonazepam and 110mg Ambien for some reason I won't get into. I didn't even fall alseep or anything from this so I'm not worried. My question is if my dose is 2mg a day, when will a normal amount of the drug still be in my system. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated as I may receive a urinalysis and cannot go off my Clonazepam.

I have been taking nexito for more than an year now. It has worked effectively for my general anxiety disorder but now I have been taking 5mg but I feel I am doing good but my doctor has shifted to a different hospital and I am not a able to reach him. Can I stop the medicine now. If not when can u stop taking these tablets'?

I was put on klonopin by a new med. doctor, for severe panic attacks and anxiety, that was brought on by a number of serious family problems. I have also been on 40 mg. of Celexa for 10 yrs, and 150 mg of wellbutrin for about 8 yrs. The new dr. just upped my Klonopin to I mg, 3 times a day. He totally took me off of the wellbutrin, without tapering. He cut my Celexa dosage in 1/2, and added 60 mg of Cymbalta a day THis all seems a bit extreme and scary to me.I really do not like him or feel comfortable with him. I am going to see a new med dr next week, who works with a group my therapist is affiliated with. What is the difference between Alprazolam stamped GG 249 and Alprazolam stamped G 3722? Hi I am prescribed many medications. I take 1 mg Xanax 3 x a day. I had 2 saliva drug tests which didn't show Xanax. Also I smoked marijuana the day before and it didn't show up either. I also get chronic dry mouth from Wellbutrin, I smoke....etc Vicodin and soma showed up. Adderall showed up. Could any medications or lack of saliva affect the outcome of the test? I took 200mg codeine in cough syrup and usual .5 mg of xanax at 830. 2 hours later I had a splitting headache and took 50mg of tramadol. I'm slightly concerned because of brochitis and respiratory issues I've read about. So, just recieved my pex 2 blister packs in the mail today. Couldn't wait to tear into them. Absolutely no markings on the front or back. I've been reading comments on this site while waiting for my mail man to show and was a bit worried about the quality of this product. what is handlebar for ## Hi lucas, From what I'm finding online, "handlebars" are just a slang term for Xanax bars, which I'm guessing is due to their "bar" or rectangular shape. Other street names they may go by are footballs, zansabars, xannie, etc... but to further answer your question, this medication is generally used for treating anxiety and panic disorders. Does Alprazolam or viibryd cause hair loss? ## Looking at the drug monograph for each medication, neither of them actually list hair loss as a possible side effect. However digging further into my search, I am seeing a lot of feedback from other patients suggesting that there are cases where both Alprazolam and/or Viibryd may have caused them to have hair loss. While I suppose there's really no way to know for certain based on this information alone, if you have any stress factors or something else going on in your life that may also be attributing to hair loss, I wouldn't necessarily rule that out either. Did you experience the hair loss shortly after taking these meds or did it come on gradually over time?
