Xanax Blue Oval And Kalotapin

I know someone that's taking kalotapins 1mg and they don't help her. Is it true that if she was to take a xanax instead of a kalotapin that she would take more of those a day than a kalotapin?

I think you may have meant to say "Klonopin", is this correct?

From what I can tell, both Alprazolam (Xanax) and Clonazepam (Klonopin) are in the same drug class of benzodiazepines. This means that they work in very much the same way, with the slight exception of one working faster and/or longer than the other, based on what inactive ingredients they use in each tablet respectively. Klonopin is also reported to have a longer half-life than Xanax, so in that aspect, she may have the desire to take more Xanax within a 24hr period since it doesn't last quite as long as Klonopin.
