Alprazolam And Hair Loss

Does Alprazolam or viibryd cause hair loss?

Looking at the drug monograph for each medication, neither of them actually list hair loss as a possible side effect. However digging further into my search, I am seeing a lot of feedback from other patients suggesting that there are cases where both Alprazolam and/or Viibryd may have caused them to have hair loss.

While I suppose there's really no way to know for certain based on this information alone, if you have any stress factors or something else going on in your life that may also be attributing to hair loss, I wouldn't necessarily rule that out either.

Did you experience the hair loss shortly after taking these meds or did it come on gradually over time?
