I quit seroquel 5 months ago for several reasons (was addicted to it and not seeing a doctor so I was getting it on the streets, it messed with my head and my heart rate, and of course the weight gain.) I was a good 125lbs ish when I started. 2 years later I'm 160lbs. Seroquel never really made me hungry or overeat, but I slept a good 14 hours a day and spent my time awake lying around because I was so tired. Having quit it though, along with being homeless, I walk quite a lot and barely get to eat. But after 5 months I can't even shed 5lbs. The next best thing I can do diet wise is literally starve myself I am already eating so little, and I already do not eat junk food, so I'm really confused and actually pretty depressed by my weight. Was forced to take risperdal Consta injections for 5 months after an adverse reaction to prednisone. I have lost my ability to feel joy, love and happiness. I also have cognitive and memory difficulties. Apathy, fatigue and social anxiety are still lingering, even though I have been off the drug for 6 months. 1st off let me thank you for taking the time to answer my ?... I am on Geodon an atypical antipsychotic for Bipolar Disorder. I have Gastro Paresis and my stomach doesn't empty the correct way and it causes severe nausea and vomiting. I was on Phenergan for the nausea (I tried Zofran it didn't work) but my Health Insurance stopped paying for Phenergan. So My Doctor put me on Compazine 10mg (its a typical antipsychotic). I took it years ago, and it made me restless and I felt like I had to keep moving my legs. My Doctor knows this but its pretty much my only option. I think if this is true that might be why I've been having seizures (about 1 month). So I've taken myself of Zyprexa since I'm so scared of another seizures. This has caused my panic attacks and anxiety to sky rocket. I walk dogs for a living and am always afraid I'll have a seizure while no one is around. ## HI Mikki, You're correct, taking Zyprexa (olanzapine) with Tramadol can cause seizures. For 10 years I have been devoted to this drug. I have a beautiful loving wife, a 3 month old daughter, I own my own home and bought a new car a few years ago. 10 years ago I was hospitalized because I thought I had to save the world from itself.
