I'm on all these is it safe to take them 150 milligrams of wellbutrin, 500 of seroquel, 2 to 5 milgrams of lorazpan, and 7.5 nil grams of mirtazapine ## Have they all been prescribed for you? Most of these tend to increase sedation, so you shouldn't combine them, without your doctor's approval. The Wellbutrin can also increase the effect of the Mirtazapine, so your doctor should be monitoring you regularly, while taking them both. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, sedation, dry mouth and weight changes. The Lorazepam also carries the risk of being habit forming.

My psychiatrist prescribed me 1mg of Ativan as well as 2 mg of Risperdal. Everything that I've read says you shouldnt take them together. I took my Risperdal about an hour ago but I'm having panic attacks. is it safe to take the ativan? ## I took those 2 medications together for about 8 months and never had any problems. I was also taking Lamictal and Lexapro at the same time. I hope this helps! ## @Amanda, I just wanted to add that according to umm.edu's drug interaction checker, there aren't any discrepancies/interactions listed between Risperdal and Ativan. So based off that, I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be able to take them together, unless instructed otherwise by your doctor. One thing to keep in mind though is that these medications do tend to af...

possibly antidepressant ## My fiance is currently taking Feroquel and I am curious about the medication. Is it like Xyprexa and does it have to build in your system before it fully takes into effect? Also, is it possible to get anything prescribed for as a mood stabilizer? Please I need facts. ## I believe the medication you are referring to is Seroquel. Most medications will take a few weeks to reach their full effect in your body. As to a mood stabilizer, there are some medications for that, but he would need to consult with his doctor about them and see if they are appropriate. ## I took one of these pills today and I got super sleeping within an hour. Maybe I have been running on fumes the last couple of days. But it diffidently had an affect.

My father has been on Seroquel for about 3 weeks for bi-polar disorder. He also has occasional bouts with paranoia. He will occasionally get very angry/agitated and lash out at family members. He still occasionally shows signs of paranoia. In other words, it at first appeared these symptoms were improving, but are still recurring. For those that have taken this drug for something similar, is this to be expected? Thanks for any guidance. ## Hello, Will! How are you and your father? It usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks for such a medication to reach its full level of efficacy. My son is schizophrenia X11 yrs. he takes clozapine 500 mg. risperadone 6 mg, and clonazepam 4 mg. he takes all of this at night and has been for 7 yrs. this past wk he has suffered a MAJOR relapse. I brought him to see his shrink to day and he ups his risperadone to 8 mg. My son sets up his meds in a wk long med box, I check them just by counting the pills and knowing the colors. As I was preparing his meds tonight I noticed there were an awful lot of clozapine left in the bottle. Upon further checking I realized he had been taking 5 (1mg) tablets of clonazepam instead of clozapine! The 2 pills almost are identical. So he was accidentally off his clozapine for 1 wk, this explains his super bad relapse. I decided to give him 100mg of cloz(instead of his usual 500mg dose) he ways 250lbs....

This pill is an orange/peach color and is round in shape. It has the P with a circle behind it engraved in one side, which is the Pharmascience logo. The other side is scored, then there's a capital L on the upper half and a 5 on the lower half. Any ideas as to what this is would be greatly appreciated. I was on Saphris for four years. My doctor wants me to wean me off of it because I am Type 2 Diabetic and my levels of sugar are raised. He doesn't want me on insulin. Eventually he wants to put me on Lutuda for Bipolar Disorder, but I am unable to sleep weaning off the Saphris. I am afraid of becoming manic. ## Hello, Candy! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the insomnia. Have you spoken to your doctor about it? They may be able to prescribe something to help minimize the withdrawal effects, such as the insomnia. You may also experience rebound depression, irritability and diarrhea. Does anyone else have any ideas of what might help?
