how many days will doxycycline will take effect? ## I have an abcessed tooth & woke up with the right side of my face swollen. Been taking Doxy-Cycl HYCL 100mg 2x daily the past few days being I woke up with swelling don't think it's wking. Starting Cephelexin tonight. The abcess on my gum has come to a head. By gently applying pressure w a q-tip its popped & quite a bit of puss came out. What can I use to help draw out more of the infection? ## Soak a tea bag in hot water then apply the tea bag to ur gums and let it set ther for a bit this helps to reduce swellings ND draw out infection

My wife is suffering from loose motions that have been very watery since yesterday. Showed her Doctor who prescribed Ofloxacin ornidazole plus acidity tablets and lomotil tab SOS. Have been on bactrim for at least four days. Blood showed up in my urine today. Have a very bad irritation. ## @irritated, Sorry to hear about your experience on Bactrim.
