I was seeing a Dr. for 3 yrs. that was prescribing Adderall for me ..it changed my life for the better ! The Dr. quit his practice and I have not been able to find a Dr. who will prescribe this drug ! I was taking a very low dose . I thought I would just do without and see how it goes ..it's been 6 months and I can feel myself slipping into depression and lethargy much like I've lived my whole life and I know I don't have to feel this way anymore ! I've been getting suboxone illegally for 2 years. I haven't used H in 2 years. I have fidelis gold insurance but I don't know any doctor that can help. Hi everyone I currently suffer from severe chronic pain. I have multiple conditions one of them being chronic renal colic. Another being degeneraong lower back I will be moving to Texas next month and need to find a pain management clinic that is compassionate, doesn't treat people like drug seekers when they truly need the help and a doctor who is not super conservative. I moved to Houston about a year ago, and had increasing, crippling pain. Had an MRI done, it shows deteriorating discs, and they are also fusing together. I cannot find a doctor who will help me with pain meds. Tramadol is just not cutting it. I have no quality of life ## I am very sorry about the problem that you're having. No one deserves to suffer in pain. However, you may be creating some issues yourself, if you're contacting doctors and asking about them prescribing medications. They are taught to see that as drug seeking behavior, so they will usually not even let you get in the door for an appointment, or if you do make it that far, they will just refuse to prescribe anything. I live in Suffolk, VA and was in a pain management practice and my dr retired. I have been in pain management for 8 years but am having a problem finding a dr that will perscribe the same thing, and unfortunately narcotics r the only thing that make me function and I've tried everything out there. I lost my job a few months ago & am in the process of foreclosure...also take care of elderly parent....tried SSRI's, & many non narcotic meds...to no avail. I was prescribed Xanax in 1992. Five months ago my new PCP changed to Klonopin which is not working. I can't find a decent pain Dr.to give me enough pain med, to kill my pain or give me Oxycontin or psychiatrist that will give me Dexedrine in St.Louis mo.. It's really frustrating not to find or get what you need. My Dr. asked me why I needed Dexedrine to concentrate since I don't work.
