I Need To Find A Doctor

My mother has a trech in her throat a feeding tube and a powerport she is looking for a doctor that will right her methadone that her tenncare will cover she is on a social security disibility and the clinic she goes to is a rehabilitation facility and she is no more an addict but the medicine is pretty much what's giving her the strength to be here she would die without it She is fortyeight she had throat cancer and a long medical history so please. Wr need help

Hello, Misty! How is your mother doing?

Unfortunately, since she has been going to a clinic, a regular doctor will not be able to prescribe Methadone for her, they can only prescribe it for pain and with an addiction clinic noted in her medical records, the law ties their hands on the matter. She will most likely actually be better off sticking with the clinic.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
