I've been prescribed an extended-release version of morphine sulfate and I've released I'm not sure how the extended release works. I take one 15 mg pill per day. I guess I thought the extended release meant that I would be getting the benefit of 15 mg of pain relief all day long, at an given moment. But does the ER version simply take that 15 mg and divide it up over the space of 24 hours? 15 divided by 24...that would mean at any given hour, I'd only have 0.62 (less than a milligram) in my system, which is substantially less than 15 mg of relief in any given hour. Can anyone clarify this for me? ## Hello, Groa! How are you? Yes, the tablet contains 15mgs total of Morphine that is slowly released over time. However, generally, the constant release of even small amounts ...

I ran out of Percocet 8 days early. I know people make excuses as to why this happens, but I went to jiffy lube and forgot that my coin purse was on the seat. It had 15 pills in it! I put them in that coin purse, in case of an emergency. Luckily, I still have a few more. My dr. prescribed morphine sulfate 15 mg twice a day. I have not taken it yet. I have been on the Percocet for 3 weeks. Terrified of going through withdrawal. Do you think the Morphine will help eliminate withdrawal? I am also on Gabapentin. Please any response is appreciated. ## Please help.Very anxious and afraid of withdrawals ## Hello, Gabrielle! How are you? Since the maximum dose available of Oxycodone in Percocet is 10mgs and that is equivalent to 15mgs of Morphine, you should actually be fine. The FDA classifies...

I have a T 194 yellow pill that says it's a percocet 10mg, but when taking it, it made me feel super weird and my chest hurt. Is this a possible side effect? ## An oblong yellow pill marked with T 194 on one side and blank on the other is identified as a 10/325mg generic Percocet. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Camber Pharmaceuticals and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 31722-0194. Concerning the possible side effects of Oxycodone, medline plus does list "chest pain" as a potentially serious side effect that you should inform your doctor about immediately. I hope you feel better soon! ## Hi, have you taken Percocet regularly prior to this? I was just prescribed this brand, I had a different one before ## Where did you receive the T194 yellow ...

What is the difference? ## tramacet relieves the pain percocet relieves the pain AND makes you high (stay away if you can, highly addictive) ## The Tramacet combines the Tramadol with Acetaminophen, which can potentiate the action of some other drugs. Learn more Tramacet details here. Tramadol has shown the potential to be habit forming and it may cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, constipation and headache. Are there any other questions or comments? Is there anything else I can help with? ## If I am intolerant of Tramacet, am I likely to be intolerant of Tramadol too? I have constant severe nerve pain in my neck from old whiplash injuries. I'm told Lyrica is good but costs a bomb. Tramadol helped my mom with a similar problem. But Tramacet makes me totally nauseous. ## Y...

Found a pill with an imprint of Gg 296 and am not sure of what it is. I was told it is some kind of Oxycodone or Percocet and I just wasn't sure what it was? It is round and white. ## This tablet is manufactured by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Loratadine, which is an antihistamine that's used to treat allergies. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. It is available over the counter and by prescription. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What is the shelf life of gg/296?

My pharmacy just switched to the Avkare brand of Norco 7.5. The imprint on it is IP 115. I feel like these do not work at all for me. I would like to know if anyone else that are on these or ever have been on them can let me know how it works/worked for them. ## Hello, Maria! How are you? Has there been any change? As permitted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, there can be fluctuations in generic medications. They are allowed to differ in the amount of the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20% of what's in the name brand, additionally, they do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand. Thus it is possible that this one is a little lower than the prior one you were taking. However, since the differences are slight, most people adjust within a we...

It seems America has embraced change and now would be the time to bring up the injustices forced upon vulnerable sections of society, cancer ridden, disabled, congenital pain issues and every other legitimate American requiring temp or long term assistance to maintain a basic quality of life. The heart of this is not allowing manufactures to defraud the public by repealing this law and putting stringent quality control on narcotic manufactures. They should clearly state what specific amount of ingredients are broken down by milligrams, not percentages. As for appropriate so-called therapeutic window argument justifications, that should be determined by the patient and doctor. However, this is impossible to find as manufacturers mislead consumers by saying it's 10mg oxycodone when in...

Is there anything I could take that would give me the energy and good feeling as oxycodone ## Yeah heroin, methadone, oxycontin or any other opiate will give you that great feeling and energy but be SUPER careful! Just by you saying you get "energy" from a pill that is a depressant and downer means your susceptible to opiates in general for addiction. I know I loved the feeling those pills gave me when I first started taking then but soon you will "need" those pills just to function and not to feel good. You'll be rolling on the floor in agony in withdrawal if you dont have them. Trust me 20 years later im still fighting the addiction. On and off heroin and methadone. ITS NOT WORTH IT!! ## I take Oxycodone, actually Roxycodone, for severe back pain--sciatica, stenosi...

What is a light blue oval pill that's blank on one side and has 4 raised lines on the other about 1/2 an inch long? Is it an opiate? ## I had the same question until my brother showed me... It's Wrigley's Eclipse Mint ## I looked up Wrigley's Eclipse Mint and their "Natural Germ Killing Eclipse Mint - Peppermint Flavor" has four raised lines on the light blue side as depicted, but the other blank side of the pill is white instead of blue, which wasn't mentioned by the original poster. Just wondering if you happen to have any additional information that can verify this finding? One thing is for certain though and that is, it's not an opiate (at least one that's manufactured in the US) as the FDA requires pill imprints for identification. ## the eclipse...

I take hydromorph contin and hydromorphone for pain and my doctor did a urine test on me I'm also taking adderal, cloazapam, risperidal, divalproex and on my urine test results I tested positive both times for oxycodone. How is this possible when I've not taken it at all? ## Do you know what type of test your doctor is using? If they have really gone with the test from the lab that was the cheapest bidder for business, then it's likely that it's not a certified test and if that's the case, false positives are known to occur on the cheaper non-certified ones anywhere from 4 to 50% of the time. The Hydromorphone is a semi-synthetic opiate and this class of narcotics is well known to cause false positives for other semi-synthetic opiates, like the Oxycodone. What has yo...

What's the difference between oxycodone/apap ip204 and oxycodocone/apap rp 10 325? ## Hello, Baldman! How are you? I'm planning on having all my bottom teeth pulled and I'm currently on suboxone (16mg a day). I had my top teeth pulled 8 years ago & was given hydrocodone, which did not help my pain. I wasn't on suboxone then. It was very painful, hurt like hell. I'm scared and I know it's going to hurt, but I need advice. Since I'm already on 16mg a day, can my doctor give me extra or can the dentist? If not, can I take something else for pain? Are there any remedies for alleviating pain after teeth extractions?
