I am 52yrs old,have been disabled since I was 36. I have bad back,neck, and neuropothy in legs and feet. Severe chonic pain. I have been treated with morphine for 20+ yrs same DR. He retired and no one will offer me help for my pain. Yes I take a high dose but it works I can have mobility and do some things and not be sedentary. I live in ST.Paul,MN. is there any Dr. or ? that can help me. I am willing to work with any DR.s ideas. Please help me or my life is over.

I have had joint pain for 1 month. I have used (PCM sos 500mg - 23 tabs) recommended by my doctor. Then I applied an ice pack over the area but I couldn't get any relief from it. Then I used some type of oil and by using it I got some relief but still I have pain. I'm a football player. My competition is starting on the 16th of May 2017. I want to be fit for that. I've had surgery and pain block injections for damage to nerves in my lower spine from a 'spur' - neither helped. Been on painkillers daily for 35 yrs, tried everything and now at best left with 80% pain. Had 100mcg fentanyl patches and their effect lessened so now I'm on 62.5 mcg fentanyl + 3x 300 mg gabapentin + 3x 50 mg tramadol combined daily. Still in agony. Any suggestions to help me please? What is the maximum mcg strength of combined fentanyl patches that can be used together every 72 hours? Thanks.

I am at the mercy of the medical and insurance systems for any quality of life possible for me after a failed back surgery led to an unstable spine and 57 degree curve scoliosis. I have been on Xarelto 5 days now, after being switched off Coumadin when I was in the hospital for blood clots in multiple arm veins. On the 3rd day of Xarelto, started to get tightness in my calf and a little bit in thigh. Slowly it is getting worse, as well as knee pain. I did 12 weeks of Harvoni and cleared the virus, finished treatment June 7th 2015. During treatment had some edema of feet and legs, it went away. Started Dicloxacillin yesterday and have had back and leg pain/ache since about half way through the day. Could it be related to Dicloxacillin? ## It is possible, according to the FDA, other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. I have been treated on different occasions with this drug and have had the symptoms you experienced. It is more like nerve pain shooting down both sides of my legs (radiating from my back thru my hips and legs... difficult to stand and walk).
