Meclizine is effective in inhibiting the symptoms of motion sickness, such as nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. But I see nothing about this drug being used to manage inflammation or pain. It belongs to the drug class of anticholinergic antiemetics, and not pain relievers. I do find it odd that he or she would prescribe something for motion sickness when you have back pain. I can only wonder if someone else's prescription got mixed up with yours. Have you brought this up with your doctor yet?

Iwas put on Methodone 5-6 years ago for chronic back pain and fibromyalgia. My ankles starting swelling so my Dr. put me on a fentanyl patch. with Norco for breakthrough. I have ben doing pretty well. A few months ago I decided to get off the drugs. I have been on 25mcg patch for a couple of months, and the other day deciced it was time to quit.My Dr. knows what my plan is. Anyway it's been a pretty miserable couple of days. The second night I put on a patch for a few hours to sleep. So sincde yesterday I have been a real TWEEKER-restless body, flipping all over the place, can't eat, can't sleep, achy. That's really the only way you are going to be able to get a proper diagnosis and treatment options. Anything given from just the limited information in your post would just be guess work. What have you already tried? ## Strongly suggest you get your blood/liver tested. Hope all is well. ## Tarry stools are indicative of blood in them. You could have internal bleeding which would also cause anemia and tiredness. You need to see a doctor a.s.a.p.

I've been suffering with insomnia for many years, my doc. Prescribed many sleeping drugs but they don't work on me . I was visiting in the Usa and because of not sleeping I got very high blood pressure , the doctor gave me 2tablets of Ambien Iwas asleep within 10 min . My doctor prescribed sublinox 10 mg. Sublingual,after Taking the med I waited over 2 hours and no sleep ,after several hours I finally dozed off, but woke up aftre 2 hours frustreted because I didn't feel rested. Yes !!! I was on 120 mg. - 180mg of methadone daily for 18 years and didn't thinkI I would ever be off methadone, but 24mg of soboxone did me good with little side effect or withdrawal. I did it in rehab and the fact is you have to be determined and dedicated. my pain dr has become an advocate for the theory of opiate induced hyperalgesia.we have had a three year dialectic on the possibilities in my case. I've been disabled for 11 years as a result of degenerative disc disease. I was given Doxytet, diagnosed with vaginal discharge syndrome. On my 5th day of taking the antibiotics I noticed large amounts of thick discharge and the opening of my vagina very itchy. I read that antibiotics cause yeast infection, do I now need to be on medication for yeast infection? Also when does the rash caused by doxytet clear up? ## Hello, Iwazi! How are you?
