According to the official drug label, Primus Pharmaceuticals is the distributor, but it is actually manufactured by a company called Capstone Nutrition, LLC. I have been on Barr/Teva dexedrine sulfate (generic) for 14 years. After 5 "shortages" I recently received back my script, butt it's a placebo !!!! Nothing at all. I took 25 10 milligram tabs; nothing at all. It's an unethical and disgusting scam. I've been taking lisinopril, lupin 20 mg. for a number of years My last rx was refilled recently and the pharmacy substituted it with actavis 20 mg. With the lupin, my b.p. readings were always good. With the actavis my b.p.is elavated. I have also experienced a terrible rash and intermittent hives. Could the change in meds have caused this? Yesterday I was prescribed verapamil. (haven't started to take it yet). The pharmacy has filled the prescription with verapamil-ER 120 mg MYLAN. I have severe chemical allergies (paraphenadiamine, Balsam of Peru, methylcloroisothiolizone, quinoline mix and wool alchohols). My pharmacy has filled my lisinopril prescription with drug from Wockhardt the first month, Acta (Actavis?) the second month, and now Lupin! Lupin is located in Mumbai. Is their GMP as strict as in the US? Do I really want to continue taking lisinopril made in India? I have been looking or this product for years. My mother-in-law had the original jar which my husband used sparingly. Because the drug store where they had gotten it from had closed. A friend was able to locate a couple of jars which my son somehow got his hands on and I had not seen it until this past Sunday. I got a small piece of an Easter basket stuck in my finger. I started at .25 for 2 weeks, then .5 for 2 weeks, then 1 mg for 4 weeks. Now on 1.5 mg for 2 weeks. Total loss of weight is 10 lbs, which was mostly in first 4 weeks due GI Side effects. But for the last 3 weeks I'm extremely hungry all the time. Soon after eating too. I'm borderline diabetic, on metformin 1 gm daily. Starting weight 207 lbs, height 5 ft. Why this hunger? I'm so mad. Are these the same as domestic US medications? ## From what I could gather, Farmapram 2mg is allegedly a form of Alprazolam 2mg from Mexico. I don't know if your pill has any markings, but another Farmapram 1mg tablet I came across with IFA imprinted on one side and scored on the other, was manufactured by Investigación Farmacéutica, Mexico. Unfortunately I haven't heard of this company before so I'm unable to offer a personal opinion on their legitimacy. I had been on 100mg of Zoloft for over 20 years. I recently decided I did not want to be on it any more. My doctor helped me wean off of it and lowered my dose every 14 days. My last official dose was just under a week ago. I feel worse this week than I have after the days of just lowering my dosage. Am I crazy? I am weepy, tired, and sooooo irritable.
