I have used evolution leanmode in the past for exercise and weight loss. I checked the ingredients one by one to make sure there aren't any interaction and still am hesitant prior to taking it. Does anyone know anything about it? here is the ingredient list, please let me know if you think its safe: GREEN COFFEE BEAN EXTRACT (500mg) ... CLA (500mg) ... ACETYL-L-CARNITINE (500mg) ... GARCINIA CAMBOGIA EXTRACT (500mg) Sourced from the tropical fruit also known as tamarind, contains premium 60% Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) level. GREEN TEA EXTRACT (250mg) Thanks and all the best to all! ## Just to err on the side of caution it may be best to bring this up with the...
Please answer if we should be worried about my mother accidentally taking her 20mg. of Xarelto and two hours later taking another 20 mg? She is 83 and on it for 2 years because of afib. Thx For a fast reply, I can't sleep worrying about her! ## @Kj, Sorry to hear about your mother accidentally taking more than prescribed. I hope she's feeling alright? From what I've read online, the maximum recommended dose of Xarelto is 20 mg once daily. I would strongly encourage you to call her doctor about this if it's not too late to see what he/she suggests as well in terms of how your mother would go about continuing her regular dosing regimen and what side effects could arise as a result of taking too much. Depending on your mother's reaction to the overdose, I'd also con...
Hi, I've been on xarelto for almost a month. I was admitted in the hospital for 2 days, after they found a blood clot(PE) in my lung. They don't know where it came from b/c I had no signs/symptoms at all. Until on the 4th of this month, I almost blacked out in my living room, and told my husband to take me to the ER. An that's what they found my PE.... this is my first clot ever, and I have to be on blood thinners for 6 months.....is it true u can get another clot while on thinners, or xarelto, in general? B/c I read people can get other clots while on thinners....???? Anyways...soon after being on the blood thinner, I got my period...I am only 33years old (34 in march) and usually my period lasts only 3-4 days. I've had my period for 3 weeks and one day. It's been v...
Please can somebody tell me if this blood thinner can cause tinnitus? A few doctors i've spoke to say it shouldn't but it's only been while i've been on this medication? Almost 3 months now. Hope someone can help x ## I am also experiencing constant ringing in my right ear since starting Xarelto six weeks ago for a PE. The nurse practitioners at the hospital clinic I am going to are downplaying the significance of this apparent side effect. But it is real, and only started once I began the medication. The sooner I get off this stuff, the better. Can't wait. ## Hello, Sarah and Steve! How are you both? I'm very sorry about the problem you're both having. No, tinnitus is not listed as possible side effect by the FDA. However, this medication does risk causing c...
I have been taking xarelto for five years for A-Fib and have been having pain in both hips and severe back pain and nausea in the morning and degenerative disk disease In the neck. I am now weighing 98 lbs. and am 81 years of age. I have severe headaches almost every day. Could xarelto cause some or all of these problems? ## Wow, Joyem! I am very sorry about what you're going through. Has there been any change, since you made this post? And yes, according to FDA reports, Xarelto could cause some of these side effects, or possibly all of them, depending on the person taking it. Others may include headache, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. Are you on any other medications? If so, that could also cause side effects.
I have been taking riveroxaban for six months now following a DVT and a PE after I had surgery on my leg in January. I have a tight chest more so when lying down and also dizziness and pains in the left side of my head. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms? I have had chest X Ray's which come back clear but I'm struggling to be listened to and wonder if it is the medication as it started a few days after taking this medication. Thanks ## Yes, there is a chance it might be due to the medication, according to NIH reports. It can also cause nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain. Are you on any other medications, or is this the only one you take? How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
Hi, I'm a 25 year old female and I've been on Xarelto for 3 months now for a DVT and PE, and I'm noticing that some days I bruise and bleed easier compared to others. Sometimes I'll hit my arm or leg on something and think to myself "that's going to bruise" but then it doesn't. Other days I get bruises that I can't even remember the cause. Similarly with cuts and scrapes. Does anybody else experience this? I asked my specialist but he had no explanation. Most of the time I bruise and bleed as everyone else, which is a bit disconcerting as I expected this wouldn't be the case, being on blood thinners. Again, my specialist wasn't sure. I've been tested for everything they can think of and they're not sure why they started in the first pl...
Just started xarelto 8 days ago for dvt. I have a dairy intolerance and have begun getting esophageal spasms and stomach cramps again. (My normal reaction to dairy). i saw that xarelto contains lactose. Can I take a lactaid with it? If so how long before or after medicine? ## I don't think there should be an issue, since the lactose isn't an active ingredient, but I'd suggest double checking to be sure. However, you might just be experiencing some side effects from the Xarelto, many people have been complaining about experiencing odd ones, such as nausea, heartburn, GERD, joint aches and muscle aches. Has anyone else had a lactose intolerance issue from it? ## I also get esophagel spasms from dairy and reflux. The Xarelto really flared the spasms and reflux for the first two...
Is it safe to take Xarelto 12 hours after taking ibuprofen? I need to know so I don't have bleeding. ## There can be an increased risk of bleeding by combining the two, but there is no specific time frame to space them, unless you have been instructed otherwise, according to FDA details. However, in the future, it would be best not to take Xarelto with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, since they can also cause blood thinning. How are you doing? Did you experience any adverse effects? ## I take xarelto 20 mg at night time for PE. Today I had a headache so I took ibuprofen for a headache, which it really did not help out but now I'm sick to my stomach and vomiting!!! Is this normal?
If Xarelto supposedly has "no dietary restrictions", is it safe to eat grapefruit? I have always heard that grapefruit and grapefruit juice interfere with medications. ## Hello, Ranger! How are you? No, there are no issues listed between Xarelto and grapefruit. And grapefruit does not cause problems with ALL medications, just some of them. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## If Grapefruit is Ok with Xarelto, how about Grapefruit seed Extract?
herbal supplement for sleep ## is xarelto and valerian root compatable, when taken together? ## I didn't find any problems or interactions listed, but it is always best to double check to be sure, especially if you may be having surgery, or some medical procedure. The FDA warns that Xarelto may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. Are there any other questions?
My husband has recently started taking xarelto after having a clot in each leg. The clots have dissolved however his feet are still swollen and his body odor is extremely strong. I can smell the xarelto coming from his pours it's very distinctive and over powering. He has never had an odor before he is a vegetarian and lives a very healthy life style. Any information or suggestions would greatly appreciated. ## Most medication can cause a change in body chemistry that can also cause an unusual body odor, according to NIH studied. Xarelto may also cause nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and renal impairment. Is he on any other medications? Has he been diagnosed with any other medication conditions?
I have been on Xarelto for a couple years. Suddenly I have begun to have burning in the chest and underarms not related to heartburn. Doctor said she didn't know what it is. Any suggestions? ## Oh yes, that can be a normal side effect of this medication, as reported by the FDA, you may also experience dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. Are you on any other medications? ## Yes I take isosorbide, flecinide, lisinipril and a stomach pill. I will be seeing heart doctor today. Let you know what he says. ## Severe .Itching and redness under arms and on chest. My friend recommend Zyrrizin. I have tried a lot of other pills and powder but no results. I am 82 years old and live in Thailand.
I still have leg pain every now and then with xarelto. I have also gain 13 lbs within 5 month period while exercising. Has anyone else had these kinds of issues? ## Unfortunately yes! Such complaints are being posted more and more often in relation to this medication. The leg pain is a listed side effect, but the weight gain is not, however, that doesn't necessarily mean that it's unrelated. Have you consulted your doctor, yet? It would be best to be safe and let them check things out, before you pinpoint the drug as being the sole cause. ## May I ask why you started taking Xarelto? If it was because of a DVT, you probably are experiencing Post Thrombotic Syndrome when your leg with have intense pain from time to time. Try wearing a compression sock daily and elevating your leg ...
Hello Everyone, My husband has been taking Xarelto for 11 days for a DVT discovered due to an unrelated nerve issue in his lower right leg. Since being on the meds he complains of being nauseous and doesn't feel like eating which is causing weight loss. He is also extremely fatigued. He feels tired, weak and has some tingling in his arms, legs.....also says that he feels "jittery" (he isn't shaking physically, but feels jittery). Has anyone else experienced any of these side effects? Do they improve? Thanks for any help that you can provide. We are very worried about all of this. ## Yes, those can be side effects of this medication according to FDA reports. However, they are usually transient and tend to go away, once someone's body gets used to the medication, but t...
Hi I was diagnosed with dvt 2 months ago I'm on xarelto 20mg everyday and lately I had severe leg cramps which was followed by numbness in my non dvt leg I had to go check for any possibility of another clot but no it wasn't so I just came into conclusions that the pain is due to xarelto side effect ## Yes, it has been known to cause muscle spasms, and cramping as a side effect, according to NIH reports. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?
Is it true that if you begin to bleed out on xarelto there is no way to stop it like there is with warfarin ## Hello, Worrie! How are you? Yes, that is true. There is nothing available that will counteract its effects, the bleeding has to stop on its own, or someone can bleed out. Other possible side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache and easy bruising. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## While "k packs" can be used in the case of bleeding with other blood thinners, they are indeed useless with Xarelto. While this sucks if you do get seriously injured, it is also why Xarelto is so much easier for day-to-day living, since the medication is also not effected by diet. In the case of serious trauma where the bleeding cannot be s...
Does anyone know if it's ok to fly with a PE while taking Xarelto? My friend has been taking the drug for 2 weeks and needs to travel. She is consulting her doctor tomorrow about whether it is ok or if she will have to drive instead of fly. ## Usually, flying is not a good idea, due to the pressure changes, as well as how long one must remain seated, which increases the risk of clots, according to the NIH. When I had congestive heart failure, it was quite awhile, before my cardiologist gave me approval to fly. Is it possible for her to drive, rather than fly?
I take Xarelto 20 mg per day. I take it because I am a Factor V Leiden. Would there be any side affects if I started to take this TruVision pill for weight loss and energy. Thank you. ## @Lala Lennon, Sorry to hear about your Factor V Leiden clotting disorder. I truly hope that one day you'll wake up to find relief from it. Concerning possible side effects from taking TruVision, I think that's unfortunately something which can only be determined through trial and error - because we don't know how our body will react or respond to anything until we try it (whether you have a pre diagnosed condition or not). Everyone is just different in that regard. Having said this, posted below is a list of ingredients found in TruVision products: Alpha Lipoic Acid, Chlorogenic Acid, Chromi...
I have been on xarelto for two months now after a PE was found in my left lung. The only side effect was a consistent cough but doctor seemed to think that was due to the PE. That cough is now gone. So sorry to hear all the side effects others are dealing with. ## Hello, Dee! How are you? I'm very glad that this medication is working so well for you. Just as an FYI for others, the FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, joint/muscle aches, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising. Are there any questions or comments? ## Hi there I've been on xalterol 6 months and I've had back pain and shortness of breath and no energy and every time I go dr she says hang in there u only have 6 months to go I can't deal with it anymore th...
