Strong Body Odor As A Result Of Taking Xarelto

My husband has recently started taking xarelto after having a clot in each leg. The clots have dissolved however his feet are still swollen and his body odor is extremely strong. I can smell the xarelto coming from his pours it's very distinctive and over powering. He has never had an odor before he is a vegetarian and lives a very healthy life style. Any information or suggestions would greatly appreciated.

Most medication can cause a change in body chemistry that can also cause an unusual body odor, according to NIH studied. Xarelto may also cause nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and renal impairment.

Is he on any other medications? Has he been diagnosed with any other medication conditions?
