Xarelto And Airplane Flights
UpdatedDoes anyone know if it's ok to fly with a PE while taking Xarelto? My friend has been taking the drug for 2 weeks and needs to travel. She is consulting her doctor tomorrow about whether it is ok or if she will have to drive instead of fly.

Usually, flying is not a good idea, due to the pressure changes, as well as how long one must remain seated, which increases the risk of clots, according to the NIH.
When I had congestive heart failure, it was quite awhile, before my cardiologist gave me approval to fly.
Is it possible for her to drive, rather than fly?
