I know someone that's taking kalotapins 1mg and they don't help her. From what I can tell, both Alprazolam (Xanax) and Clonazepam (Klonopin) are in the same drug class of benzodiazepines. This means that they work in very much the same way, with the slight exception of one working faster and/or longer than the other, based on what inactive ingredients they use in each tablet respectively. Klonopin is also reported to have a longer half-life than Xanax, so in that aspect, she may have the desire to take more Xanax within a 24hr period since it doesn't last quite as long a...

Hi I am prescribed many medications. I take 1 mg Xanax 3 x a day. I had 2 saliva drug tests which didn't show Xanax. Also I smoked marijuana the day before and it didn't show up either. I also get chronic dry mouth from Wellbutrin, I smoke....etc Vicodin and soma showed up. Adderall showed up. Could any medications or lack of saliva affect the outcome of the test? I don't understand why the tests aren't showing my meds??

I took 200mg codeine in cough syrup and usual .5 mg of xanax at 830. 2 hours later I had a splitting headache and took 50mg of tramadol. what is handlebar for ## Hi lucas, From what I'm finding online, "handlebars" are just a slang term for Xanax bars, which I'm guessing is due to their "bar" or rectangular shape. Other street names they may go by are footballs, zansabars, xannie, etc... but to further answer your question, this medication is generally used for treating anxiety and panic disorders.
