My doctor prescribed ten days of progesterone (two pills at night). This was prescribed because I started bleeding after having stopped my period for about a year and a half. I have endometriosis. So, after taking it for the ten days, my period started. I have been bleeding for approximately eight days. A lot of the lining is shedding, I have gushes of blood at times. I am 62, post menopausal, have thickening of endo lining and spot bleeding. I am on provera and it has stopped the spotting. I forgot to take it for 2 days. I started spitting again. Now I am back on it faithfully and am not spotting. Is this medicine to help thin my lining out or just stop spot bleeding? Will I have to take it for the rest of my life? Dr told me to take bestova tablets from my 5th day of pregnancy. Then from 15 days onward, 300mg progesterone sustained release tablets. I've recently started taking duavee. It has been one week. I'm noticing that I feel like I am suffering from a uti. Pain is not bad but I can feel the pressure and feels strange starting my urine stream. Is this the medicine? Should I see my doc immediately. Drinking lots of water but no results. ## Its a pretty neutral compound on the uterus. My wife has been advised to take regestrone 5 mg for 5 days from 18/2, her period is due on 23/02. We are married since 3 years trying to have a baby. I have a normal size thickened endometrium uterus and I want to plan for pregnancy. My doctor suggested I use the 5mg Sysfol. I have Pcos and I have been trying to conceive since I got married in 2008 to no avail. I have been experiencing worrisome cycles for over 6 months now. I always start spotting for about 4-7 days followed by fairly normal flow for about 5-7 days and it eventually ends with spotting for about 5-7 days. Hence I was given Primolut-N 5mg tds for 5 days. My daughter is pregnant (40 weeks) but her doctor told her that the wall of her uterus & the cervix is too thick, and that scopinal hyoscine N butylbromide play a role in giving birth by decreasing their thickness. Does that really help in giving birth or not?
