I'm maaried in February 2012 and I got missed period past two months and I thought I may pregnant but my result was negative so my doctor adviced me to have b-long f tablet. Is it good to have this tablet ## B-Long F is just a nutritional supplement that contains Pyridoxine and Folic Acid. It has Marine collagen Gelatine (171-E172) Vitamin C Emulsifier Magnesium Stearate ## I haven't been able to find a company listed under that name. From the little information I could find, they sold various natural products, but made some very questionable claims about them and what they could help with. There are, however, similar products on the market that contain these same ingredients. Have you tried asking your pharmacist/chemist to help you find something similar?

I am investigating mutlivitamins for a Vegan diet. Can anyone recommend any, that is they have or are taking a Vegan multivitamin? ## If you have on in your area, the best suggestion I can make is to go to a local vitamin shop and ask them what they recommend, or what their most popular seller happens to be. The people in such stores are usually very knowledgeable about such things, which is why they work there and they'll usually know the best product options. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

I wan Omega 3 in liquid form. It is for a child. ## This website doesn't manufacture, nor sell any products, it is an information only website. Have you tried checking a local drug store or vitamin shop? These can usually be easily purchased in gel capsule that contain fish oil, which is rich in omega 3s and you can easily open them to use the oil, if someone can't swallow the gel caps.

im taking eltroxin o.1 mg with evion 400,is it harmful to take both medicine at the same time. ## There are no problems with taking these two medications together. Evion contains the active ingredient Vitamin E. And from what I could gather, Eltroxin (Levothyroxine) does not have any interactions with Vitamin E. However, consumption of certain foods as well as the timing of meals relative to dosing may affect the absorption of T4 thyroid hormone (i.e., Levothyroxine). T4 absorption is increased by fasting and decreased by foods such as soybean flour (e.g., infant formula), cotton seed meal, walnuts, dietary fiber, calcium, and calcium fortified juices. Is Lipovet an antibiotic? Why is it prescribed? ## Hi Lori, Lipovet is a veterinary tablet for the animal's metabolism that is considered to be a nutritional supplement in that sense. The description of Lipovet regards it as being used to help support the metalolism of fat in the liver. IS IT OK TO BRAKE A CAPSULE AND TAKE JUST SILYMARIN ## Have you checked with your doctor, or pharmacist? It is a nutritional supplement containing derivatives of milk thistle and, in most cases, this can be done, as long as it's not a time released product, but I am not sure if it may be irritating to the stomach to do so.

I found a white oblong pill on the floor of my house with B595 imprinted on it. ## B595 is a Nicotinamide (nicomide) tablet. It is a prescription vitamin B. It is mainly prescribed as an anti-inflamatory for skin conditions like acne or rosacea. Typically is is prescribed after completing a 3-6mo prescription of antibiotic. Nicomide is typically a permanent and on-going vitamin supplement to help control flushing in the skin.

I tried to order Folbee but none were in stock. What other medication can used as a substitute for Folbee? ## Have you talked to your pharmacist or doctor about an alternative that you can use? It's a folic acid supplement, but some of them are proprietary in specific formulations. However, your pharmacist should be able to help you find an equivalent.

i was perscribed 50,000 iu of iron one day a week pill. How much is this in mg? The perscription is for 5 months. ## Hi Faye, I find that really odd that your doctor said 50,000 IU, as Iron is not measured in international units, but rather milligrams or mcg. Generally, international units are used to measure "vitamins" such as A, C, E, D, etc...and not used for "minerals" such as iron. 1 IU vitamin A = 0.3 mcg (micrograms) 1 IU vitamin D = 0.025 mcg 1 IU vitamin E = 0.7 mcg as d-alpha tocopherol The translation from IU to micograms or milligrams is different for every vitamin; and as far as I know there is no converting measurement for Iron to go from mcg or mg to IU; or vise versa. Does anyone else have any information to share regarding this?

Trying to find list of ingredients and amounts in Stovite One multivitamin. It used to be readily available but now appears to be a "secret" for whatever reason. i am ailing from cervical spondolysis, there is problem in c2,c3,c4. i had taken accupuncture treatment,which did not suit me.
