i took this vit d2 1.25 for 30 days now pharmacy say i did not suppose to take that med that doctor gave me the prescription ## I find it rather odd that the pharmacy is telling you not to take what the doctor prescribed you. One thing you have to keep in mind is that the pharmacy does not know your medical history or any of your personal reasons for having to supplement Vitamin D. I would however argue that Vitamin D2 is synthetic and therefore may not be as effective as it's more natural counterpart (Vitamin D3). From this point of view, I can understand why the pharmacy may recommend that you take D3 instead of D2. Were you able to get your prescription filled?

Since I use to get pains in my finger both legs and hands so I informed my G.P. He advised for blood test,the result shown Vitamin D is drastically low and must start with CALCEOS TABS and will test the blood again after a month OR else I will have to take the tabs for the whole life. Pl.Suggest me the BEST Vitamines and any Diets. ## You can take Vit D from morning sun light. Doctors advice here in India to take Sun light bath just at the time of Sun rise. One should expose the skin to the sun light. can this be crushed or dissolved in water? ## Have you tried asking a doctor, or pharmacist? I am not familiar with them, so I am actually not sure if it is safe to do so. This is a supplement that contains a complex of B Vitamins and vitamin E and some of them can cause stomach irritation if they are crushed, so any coating is removed.

Gemcal Ds was prescribed to my wife, about 56 years old, suffering from pain from neck, shoulder and to her knees. She took it for the first time, before taking breakfast, as advised to her. After about two hours she started feeling very uneasy, dizzy and wanting to vomit. The next day when taken, the effect was same, so she has stopped taking this medicine (Vitamin). The only way it may help you gain weight is if you are underweight due to a deficiency in it. If you are thin because it is normal for your body, then taking it is not going to make a difference. It is important to make sure you have enough of the B vitamins, as well as folic acid, when you are HIV positive, but it should really be based on your levels and whether or not you need to take them, because too much can also cause problems. Your doctor can do a blood test to check them and let you know if you should take them and, if so, how much you should take.

I have been taking 200 mg. of riboflavin for 6 days. I developed a rash on my arms thats has now spread to my legs and back. Small red bumps that look like welps. The reason for this is due to the fact that too much of some nutrients can be dangerous and cause severe health issues as easily as not having enough of them. This is especially true of vitamin b12. My mother is 58 yrs old. Recently she has been diaognesed as a pulmonary fibrosis. I found these pills amongst a family member's things but they were in a vitamin bottle. They are a medium blue, oval shaped and have H (score) S on one side and blank on the other. I'm wondering what they are? ## Is there are particular reason to believe they aren't the vitamins that belong in the bottle? I've not found any listings for this imprint and with it being that vague, it makes me suspect that it is something available over the counter. ## Haha, nope, definitely not the vitamins that belong in the bottle. The bottle is the same as some I take and I know what is meant to be in there. I have since found out they are night-time cold and flu tablets.

What is work of this tablet? tlee me details......... ## From what I can find, Benadon is just listed as containing Pyridoxine, which is a form of Vitamin B6, so it is just a nutritional supplement. oxygen absorbed ## Thiamine hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) is reported as an ingredient of Tiamin. Thiamine is a vitamin used by the body to break down sugars in the diet. It also helps correct nerve and heart problems that occur when a person's diet does not contain enough thiamine. I'm not exactly sure what you may be referring to in regards to "oxygen absorbed", but I do urge you to post back if you have any other questions or concerns pertaining to this information. please send me the possible side effects of the above mentioned drugs. my grand ma is taking these drugs so i want to know the possible side effects. ## There are just multivitamin/mineral supplements, not actual medications, which means that they are not studied for side effects, as is done with actual drugs. Some people do experience some localized soreness from the infections and nausea from taking the tablets, but that's really all the information that is available. Is her doctor aware that she's taking them?
