Is Lipovet an antibiotic? Why is it prescribed?

Hi Lori,

Lipovet is a veterinary tablet for the animal's metabolism that is considered to be a nutritional supplement in that sense. The description of Lipovet regards it as being used to help support the metalolism of fat in the liver.

Each tablet contains the following ingredients:

Choline Dihydrogen Citrate (278 mg)
dl Methionine (111 mg)
Inositol (83 mg)
Cyanocobalamin/Vitamin B12 (2 mcg)
Liver - Concentrate & Desiccated (86.6 mg)
