information on small round gray T100 scored ## I cannot be 100% certain, but other users of ours have identified this as being a Temaril-P tablet, that is used to treat skin conditions in dogs. It contains Trimeprazine and Predisolone, however, as a veterinary medication, rather than human, I have no other information on it and no way to confirm this identification. (The actual name for Trimeprazine) Can anyone confirm this? ## Do you have any updates on the identity of this medication? ## What does this medicine cost. Is it for dry skin?…it was prescribed for dog.

What is the pill marked P100

These were prescribed for my Labrador after he was hit by a car a year ago. He has been on a regular diet of 150 mg of Rimadyl daily for pain. I'm out and the new order won't be here for 2 days. Can I give him these pain killers (marked with P100) until then? ## Yes, they are in fact canine pills. My girlfriend, her boyfriend and I got pulled over tonight and she got arrested for them because the *****s couldn't get it up on the computers. I came home and googled it and it came right up! I think they were just looking to charge her because they told her it was methamphetamine, however, he allowed me to take pictures of the bottle and the pill itself before I left the police station, and it is in fact the same pill spelled CARPROFEN. It is for dogs. I don't know if they p...

Peach oblong pill with P 100 for a dog

My vet gave them to my 140 lb dog for pain in his joints. But it is a white elongated pill with a P on the left half and 100 on the right. He is supposed to take 1-1/2 every 12 hours as needed for pain. The vet has to check his liver every few months to be sure it isn’t causing any liver problems. ## I'm not sure but I think it may be carprofen (also known as Rimadyl). It is a NSAID commonly prescribed for veterinary use. ## It's actually prednisone. Hope this is what you are looking for. ## Hi Candice, Can you please verify how you came to the conclusion that it's prednisone? I located an oval orange/peach-ish colored pill marked P100 with an NDC: 26637-253, that also came back as Carprofen. Pill Size: 19mm Packager: Putney, Inc. NIH.gov describes this medication as a...

lot 3354ftn 101 dog worm pills

Whats the directions to the medicine? Weight per pill ## @Boo, There's no way (at least that I know of) to look up veterinary drugs via their lot # on the package. It would seem to me that the lot numbers are only used for organization at the manufacturer's discretion during the drug making/packaging/inventory process but probably serve no other purpose. Do you have any other specific details to share about the pill's physical description, such as its shape, color, size, imprints, etc? I just think we'll need a little more information to accurately identify what type of worm pill this is and hopefully that'll help us research proper dosing protocols from there. Another option that may also be a good idea is to take your dog in to see a local vet who can prescribe an ...

Deramaxx and Veterinary Pain

Our English Bulldog needs a pain medication for very severe tooth and gum infections. He is 10 years old & he cannot have the anesthetic needed for surgery to remove his teeth. We are just trying to keep him comfortable and were wondering if this would help with his pain? If you have a better solution, we would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you!!! ## Deramaxx contains the active ingredient Deracoxib, it is an anti-inflammatory that is often used to treat pain in dogs, such as that associated with osteoarthritis, and some types of surgery. The FDA lists the possible side effects for dogs as being similar to those in humans who taken anti-inflammatories, so they may include nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, and increased risk of bleeding. Has the vet prescribed this for your pup? Wh...

round yellow pill imprint with C G on one side & R B on the other side

I found a small round yellow pill in my living room today with the imprint on one side of C G and the other side of R B. I have searched online and have called the pharmacist and have been unsuccessful in determining what type of drug this is. None of my family including my family next door that visits several times a day every day knows whose pill this is or what it is. Can you please help me determine what this pill is? Any help is greatly appreciated! :) ## HI, Sandy! There's a good reason your pharmacist didn't know what this one was, it's a veterinary medication. It's used to treat flea infestations and it's called Capstar. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am puzzled now because we have not purchased capstar for either of my cats. I was told earlier ...
